Im thinking vlad is more toxic now than he was pre rework

It seems to me there is even less counterplay

I guess the same could be said about Yorick Malzahar Gangplank Graves Zyra considering their before/ after reworks.

Old Yorick compared to new Yorick. I have PTSD from fighting the old Yorick

They made an item called executioner calling , removed spell vamp, made his e remove percent health, lowered the damage amp from his utli, made it so that his e can be body blocked, increased all of his cool downs, and made it so that his q only hurts on every third q. He is full of counter play, but also was stronger than before if used correctly. Now he just feels bad to play, but Vladimir was made far healthier for all but the pros(and still healthier just strong).

He definitely has more counterplay now since you can hid behind minions to avoid e and Q has its whole window of power thing going on. How strong he is isn't related to counterplay it's about things you can do other than not be in range.

Vlad may have been annoying right after his rework but that's no reason to act like his rework somehow removed counterplay from his kit. It only added counterplay. His previously unavoidable E is now able to be creep blocked, and his Q now has a clear window of power you can play around.

The same could be said about Gangplank; they removed things with absolutely no counterplay, his old passive and E, which both were just raw stat things, and added things with counterplay, his barrels, which can both be dodged and destroyed, and his new passive, which is very telegraphed that its up and has a significant cooldown that you can play around.

Malz, Graves, and Zyra were net neutral changes in terms of counterplay, and of those only Malz really has counterplay problems.

Yorick has much more counterplay post-rework. His old E was targeted and his W might as well have been, so new Yorick is a huge improvement here.

Riot has been very good about giving (most) of their reworked champions appropriate counterplay.
