Matchmaking quality is extremely poor right now
Its subtly different/better than season 9, but these matches are either not challenging or you've got no chance.

Too many players MMR's are in flux from the constant unbalanced state of the game. Champions overtuned, damage overtuned, XP changes, drake and rift changes.
Agreed. The major issue that I'm finding in my elo (Around low plat mmr, currently in silver-gold) is that every Plat-Diamond player got dropped in the reset to silver/gold. When every single plat, diamond, and gold player from last season is now in silver-gold elo, it makes it much harder to climb because the average skill of the current silver rank is so much more variable than the average skill of silver last season. Since everyone had their ranks reset I can get some people in my games who were low gold last season all the way up to low-mid diamond. It makes the teams so wildly unbalanced that you either 100% win or 100% lose. Nearly everyone who was plat+ got dropped like 2-2.5 tiers when they reset this time. People who were gold last season though only dropped to high silver, whereas plat and diamond players seem to have dropped into low gold. It's making it a lot harder to climb to where my rank really should be when the teams are so widely unbalanced in MMR. It's not fair to give me an ADC who was low-mid gold last season and make the enemy ADC someone who was diamond last season. That's incredibly unfair. Even Faker himself is having issues climbing in Diamond with a less than 50% winrate. If Faker himself can't climb due to these matchmaking issues, then how am I supposed to?
Bro I just went vs a duo top/jungle and duo adc/support plus smurfing 67% wr midlaner all in one game.... You think I won that shit? fuck no. My team didn't have a chance. We had no duo or anything. That is so unbalanced.
I ganked bot 5 times.
It's not even entirely about player skill levels not being matched properly tho. Alot of the time someone getting the smallest of leads early will make it look like they're smurfing just because of how snowbally game is with the burst damage meta. If just a small lead means you can one shot your opponent with your combo, then it's gonna look like you're just dramatically better than them. There's little realistic counterplay to vs'ing a player with a lead atm, especially with just about every meta champ being extremely simple and hard to fk up.
