W has about 5x the range, zero travel time, snares, AND goes through minions.

W slows.

Thematically, it even looks like it stuns. Does Riot even care that older champs are completely left in the dust?

Jinx W should be able to crit dealing 2x the damage and also turning the slow into a stun, overcharged zap gun.

The difference being, Jhin requires about 1-2 seconds to reload every 4 shots

The point being it's how he remains balanced, just like how Jinx has a a snare and attacks WAY than Jhin, Jhin snares and deals more damage over less time

Jinx is in no way considered "older champs". fits that category well.
Jhin requires someone else or himself to deal the initial damage before his W is able to snare people.
Jinx has better & faster DPS than Jhin since he needs to reload, so the difference between both of their W is neglected.

Ezreal says hi. 43 % winrate says hi. Only adc that doesnt scale with crit in any way says hi. ADC whose items and masteries have been getting nerfed since s6 says hi. The only adc, and quite possibly the only champion in the entire game without any meaningful waveclear options outside a 120 sec cd ult or a troll shiv runaans build says hi. You feel your w is useless? Get a load of mine when I aint building AP says hi. Worst global ult of any global ult ADC says hi. Lowest winrate during the time period he's supposed to be the strongest says hi. Why pick Ez for tri spike, poke, safety and magic damage when there's corki mid says hi. Get in line says hi. There is a big difference between both of them. You cant compare an adc with mechanics such as jhin to jinx because... there is no comparing point to begin with. Jhin does not get attack speed. Jinx does. Jhin is reliant on his abilities to be usefull (and 4th auto) jinx just presses q then auto attacks. 2 completely different champions no comparing point. That is like saying oh mord's w heals him we should make wukong's w heal if he hits an enemy with it....
