#Introduction

Howdy! I'm Aqua Dragon, and I play a lot of really weird stuff in Diamond.

Jungle Malzahar, Tank Karthus, Support Orianna, APC-Bot Ghost Vel'koz, and AP Kog.

Suffice to say, I get reported. A lot.

I was wondering, "How often?" and it turns out you can send in a ticket request to find out how many times!

124 Reports in 90 Days, about 270 games.

Now this information has a caveat: people can report you for more than one category at a time, so it's probably a bit less than this. Still, it's a lot of reports!

#Have you been punished?

I've been playing weird stuff in ranked League for 5 seasons now.

And in all my time, I've never been muted, suspended, banned, punished, or even warned a single time.

Riot's report system is very good at identifying unwarranted reports!

#But are you a toxic player?

Here's an example of what kind of awful reported behavior I had in-game.

Oh the humanity! But perhaps that was cherry-picked, so here's another awful example of human waste.

Aqua Dragon: I'm Kog. Aqua Dragon: Mad respect. Aqua Dragon: Those were some fancy feet. Aqua Dragon: Our poke is intense, Xer Aqua Dragon: Aced Aqua Dragon: Mao, you beast Aqua Dragon: Wonder if we can arrive in time Aqua Dragon: I got smite Aqua Dragon: gg

Suffice to say, I don't usually type very much.

Perhaps that's why I've been reported often: many rude people interpret my lack of responses as "refusing to cooperate and communicate with the team" But it's tough when every statement I make about my builds is up for debate, harassment, bullying, and sheer salt.

Better to just lay low and focus on winning.

Personally what I'd like to see but you probably can't get the data: What % of games where your team won did you get reported, and what % where your team lost?

If it were possible, I'd bet that the majority of your reports are games your team lost, and going further, the majority of those reports come from the guy on your team with the most deaths

off meta isnt suppose to be punishable or reportable. where it crosses the line if you are legit trolling and not trying to win or help team. alot of your off meta isnt really all that off meta from what you described. ap kog is old school kog mid , he is better on hit with hybrd items. tank karthus kinda makes sense he builds tanky ap items, orianna support i have seen it since season 3 off n on. jungle malz i have seen quite a bit. seen alot of velkoz support bot. so as long as you dont troll and int i dont care and neither should any one else and clearly riot is ok with what you are playing.

shit i use to do nunu top. maokai mid, sona crit top. i still do ad bruiser maokai . i have supported with nearly any champ that has cc. jungled galio. i use to main galio support ( prior to rework ) so whatever

basically high-five fellow.. thoooooough in silver people don't even try to win when they see off-meta champions and flame you for every bad thing that happens in the game :d

i might try being a bit more careful (i also haven't been punished though!) and see how this ends up here.. though 3 months is too long in deed :(

##LMAO what are those baby numbers? "HATE_SPEECH" : 33, "LEAVING_AFK" : 72, "VERBAL_ABUSE" : 126, "INAPPROPRIATE_NAME" : 3, "NEGATIVE_ATTITUDE" : 186, "ASSISTING_ENEMY_TEAM" : 83, "THIRD_PARTY_TOOLS" : 8

A grand total of 511 reports in (i assume, this is the number of logs that i had) 240 games but maybe it's more than 240, yet not even 1 chat restriction lel, the fun part i usually don't even type in chat or ping anyone, from the 240 logs only like 40 have something written on them, but like 2-3 lines for most of them too

The sad thing is this is not off meta its just griefing like its the actual definition of it too since all your doing is ruining peoples games since what you are doin is hindering the balance of your team like there are reasons for how things are since it works to by playing it and by not doing it increases the chances of your team losing and a lot of people dont want to play with somone thats off meta so your making it worst for them and thats griefing.

I'm all for people playing off-meta (I regularly jg urgot) but there is a point when it's trolling, playing a first time AP MF mid and going 0/8 then typing works with a good team is troll.
Play off meta all you want so long as it's still viable :D

Hold on... Are all the reports from your own team? What about the amount of reports from the enemy team? I mean, them losing against off-meta picks (tank Karthus for example) and did very well, they must have been very tilted that they lost to something that seemed like it wasn't supposed to work and therefore report you.

Imagine on the loading screen, enemy saying: "lol malzahar jungle! free LP guys!" then lose to such a thing, and the enemy team decides to report you for pretty much any reason they can find.

I actually really like APC bot Velkuza, and with the pros playing stuff like swain bot it helped mitigate the hate i get when i do play him as the "bot" role

He has good clear, long range, mana is a bit tight but if u play smart you can keep your mana up well and at 6 you and the support have high kill potential, honestly i feel velkoz is better bot than he is mid with how much Assassins / no mana champs mid are dominant

I'd like to comment on something.

Given you are playing champions as you consider "nonmeta" you are self admitting you go into a game knowing people are going to question you, and you might very well be affecting their game outcomes.

Maybe that's WHY you don't talk much? You don't really expect to carry or necessarily do well?

I talk a lot less when I play adc, because I know I generally don't hyper carry with adc. If I make a mistake or play too passive and give up too many opportunities, I generally know it. So when someone else makes a mistake, I don't say as much.

But if I'm playing a role I know well, and proficiently, I tend to rage more...... because I expect my team which is 90-100% meta, to also play proficiently. When they 0/2 every single lane and crumple all 3 lanes..... vs champs they hard counter..... yeah..... I'm going to rage.

P.S. I'm a Jungle support specialist, so yeah. I'm generally off meta. But I'm proficient enough at doing it I got to Diamond II.

Jungle = Zyra Pyke Leona best place to be (more ganks, better ganks faster snowballs, can all handle the job harder and faster than a typical jungler)

If you say too little people get angry at you for not communicating, but if you say even remotely much people immediately make fun of you as a toxic player.
