I know it's normals, but holy hell why as a Silver 3 do I have to go against a Diamond 2 and 5? Needless to say I got my shit pushed in by the Diamond 2 playing Illaoi. I really don't understand why I'm allowed to be matched against these players. I'm regularly facing and playing with gold-diamond players as Silver 3.
Toastey1 votesRanked MMR is completely separate from Normals MMR. Pretty dumb, I know. Someone could be Challenger in Ranked but have a Normals MMR equivalent to Gold, and a Silver could be Silver but have a normals MMR equivalent to Plat. I had to lane against a Challenger Morgana once in normals... Not a good time.
Naomi CoffeeGoat1 votesI really hope they can implement a better system than this. It's hardly fun playing against these guys and I've had them shit talk whether they're on our team or the enemy's. Then everyone just outright loses hope when these guys stomp in the game. :/

I've kinda gotten used to the feelings of helplessness and frustration as I continually face people 3 leagues above my skill level. At this point, seeing plat and diamond boarders on my own team and my enemy's team elicits not much more than an inward groan of impatience as I wait for the inevitable stomp fest. There's literally nothing you can do about it either, so I just mute everyone from the start and try to muddle my way through the game without looking to too much of an idiot.
