I just got back from like a month long break and there's a new announcer today in game. What happened?

The first thing you should probably do is read patch notes. Especially if you came back from a break. Why can't anyone do this?

Read patch notes. Read patch notes. Read patch notes.

You don't have to be an ass about it.

thats hardly being an ass. its being emphatic. and putting emphasis on what should be obvious for people.

Oh, so go through the entire ~8000 word count patch notes to find it under the misleading category of "Upcoming Game Mode"? All while remembering that often Riot doesn't put information about teasers in the notes in the first place? Or you could search for "new league announcer" and somebody like you could say, "It is Dark Star Thresh as a promotion for the new Dark Star skins." (Which is shorter and also serves other people searching for the same topic) p.s. If there is a subreddit similar to "iamverysmart" for people who like to use the internet to make a fuss and feel superior, please let me know, this would be a perfect post for there.

I looked, didn't see much. It didn't sound right so I assumed it was an error because it sounded off. Found out it's DS Thresh who always sounds like the voice clips are bugging out.
