Xayah

So let me get this straight you beat Xayah from not engaging?????? I'm a little confused so if you say your Tristana and you jump on top of her like you would anyone else if they were out of position she wins? Um so I have to wait for her to attempt to kill me first and simply just auto her. There seems to be a fatal flaw with the design of this champion with the fact that that just doesn't really seem right????? Like I get it her aa range isn't high and the see the weaknesses but I really don't like that I have to choose certain champions to face her or not be able to do anything to her, that just seems kind of unfair sure if I she's picked first I could run ashe or twitch into her, but what happens if I'm picked first as miss fortune, it's like forget everything I might as well just watch the rest of the game from the fountain........Way to keep Lucian and Ezreal meta picks though I guess.

Miss Fortune counters her. On the other hand, Xayah counters Tristana, Jhin, Corki, Ezreal, Kalista and Sivir.

I'm trying to understand how, if the concept is to not engage and poke from long range, she manages to counter Jhin and Sivir? The fact is, she currently doesn't really have a hard counter except fast burst plus stun, which tends to require late game, which means she's already fed or you need a concentrated team effort to down her. Hell, she countered my veigar mid yesterday and he has a stun and burst. You can't stay at range and poke and expect to farm at all equally, and you can't all-in or you die. That's a balance problem.

Xayah is balanced, really. I quoted the counters from champion.gg. Now, from my experience, MF counters her because not only does she have longer range but she also hits a lot harder. MF is built like an assassin-bruiser, not as an adc. Xayah has speed but a Q with a couple of items hits Xayah too fucking hard. Jhin has power but doesn't have burst like MF, especially ult-wise, MF is way better. I imagine Xayah counters Ez, Kalista and Sivir due to having bigger raw dmg, but in extended fights and provided that Kalista dodges she should defeat Xayah. Tristana has the upper hand late game but not early-mid game. Xayah is super squishy and very immobile, Xayah is a lot easier to kill than you think. She's not as oppressive as Cait in the laning phase and while she has amazing wave clear she doesn't have the unhealthy zoning Cait has. Xayah is NOT a duelist, she can't 1v1 many champs. Just spend more timing using her and fighting against her. Xayah is pretty balanced.

Miss Fortune might be able to do more damage but Miss fortune relies on her passive from her w to do most of her damage, xayah has the ability to shoot through minions which really hurts miss fortune down given I did dominate against her last time I played against her as Miss fortune but I had a really good support that made it easy for me just to go ham on her. The problem I have is those feathers she shoots out forces me to one side of the battlefield and I constantly have to watch out for them maybe if they lasted for not as long it wouldn't be so bad, with Tristana I jumped in and right away she recalled and snared me it hurt a lot. And short range adc against her is going to have hell in lane, now Miss Fortune doesn't get hurt too much and your right about Caitlyn she's one of those adcs that are just really hard to fucking kill with her escape the damage she gets and how many traps she can put out. but Xayah I assume it's going to be awhile before people even pros to utilize her effectively.

You can engage her easily just dont stand in one spot. Walk to the side of her every auto and you can easily win the trade. A lot of her damage comes from her feather recall which only works if you get hit by them on their way back. Moving essentially negates all this damage and her only cc. Her win loss ratio is below average and even pros are struggling winning with her. Alot of her damage IE her feathers is easily avoided if anything expect a buff for her in coming patches.

People calling her ''broken'' just have horrible positioning. Her feathers are easy to avoid and this makes Xayah a lot easier to kill. They might indeed buff her a bit or give her some other cc.

Avoiding the feathers yes it's easy not getting hit by them but it's like Annie's stun not as dangerous and Annie's stun stays but it's a powerful zone out tool. You don't want to engage or she'll recall and those feathers they last a little while they don't just disappear right away so it really keeps you constantly having to look on the map instead of the mini map leaving you open to possible ganks a little easier she does seem weak in 1 v 1 situations but in bot lane there isn't just one person you have a support with her that's doing their best to hit you as often as they can she has little kill potential but she's also hard to kill as a result as well.
