Ekko needs rework badly

Ekko's kit has been and continues to be completely broken. How can you have a champion that literally has zero counterplay to the majority of the champions in the game? If you don't have hard CC and insane burst damage, you can pretty much never kill the guy. Hell that isn't even enough since his ult is the biggest middle finger to the opponent that has ever been invented. Honestly, what is the weakness that Ekko is supposed to have?

This guy is overdue for a Kassadin level rework.

And he should have never been released in that state. Riot was more concerned with making money than having a balanced champion. He has had nerfs every other patch and still isn't balanced.

Even without hard cc you can kill him. Easy way to deal with his ult is bring ignite.

That just reduces the heal. The only real benefit is that he will run away rather than kill you.

Everything in his kit is delayed and has visual indicator (except his E). What do you want more? LB , Talon and Kat can kill you in less than 1 second without real counterplay or visual indicators what are they going to do...

LB has to actually hit a hard skillshot to 100-0 nothing you. Talon has to fully commit to an all in, if he doesn't kill you immediately, he's pretty much screwed. Kat is the easiest, just CC her to prevent a reset and she dies.

Ekko can easily kill you by using his W to zone out an area, so now you only have one way to go. Then he Q's you, E's to you, and hits the return Q on you since he's on top of you. Plus his passive goes off at this point and you are dead or almost dead and there is no way to out run him. If you do get lucky and hard CC him, he just hits R and laughs.

Hard skillshot... Q + R + W + ignite kills most people with little AP. Ekko needs the return Q to deal any dmg, vs good players you can't do any and going in with E will most likely kill you without hitting the double Q.

0 Counterplay?

He has 2 really obvious skillshot abilities and if you can see him, you know where his Ult is going to be when he uses it. Counterplay to his ult is don't stand on his time ghost.

His Q is ridiculously easy to hit with. If you can't hit someone with Ekko's Q, you should probably uninstall. His W is very telegraphed, but it takes up 60% of a lane. So you are now completely zoned, because if you go in it, he stuns you and you die. His ult can be used offensively or defensively, and you don't know where it will go unless you have full vision on him.

He has both great sustained and burst damage and is incredibly safe due to his mobility. If you die on him more than 3 times in a game, you must have screwed up badly.
