Why can't we buff Darius's base movespeed to 345?
It isn't gamebreaking and will help him tremendously with getting in range of someone(before he gets a bleed on them), helps him stick better, and helps slightly with his kiting.

Because they think melee champions being 100% kiteable and unable to interact with anyone with range unless the ranged player goes full retard is balance.
That'd be a pretty big buff imo. I love taking movement speed quints on Darius because he's pretty slow for a melee.
Eh, I think he's fine. I'm not a Darius player by any means so you may disagree with what I'm about to say, But whenever I face him toplane, i see him as a tanky but immobile monster who can do tons of damage because of his bleed and true damage ult. If he had movement speed to boot, I feel like it wouldn't be healthy for his play.
Of all of the melee champions around, Darius is one of the hardest(if not THE hardest) to fight if you're playing a melee champion. To trade for that, it would make sense if his vulnerability is kiting. Don't get me wrong though, it's a problem when ADC's have so much self peel, that the only champs who can kill them have multiple gap closers like Akali, or have big speed buffs and reliable stuns like Udyr. That being said, I think it makes sense for -possibly- the strongest Melee 1v1 duelist to be vulnerable to kiting. He has his Apprehend to help counter this a little bit, so again, I don't think giving him more movement speed would be the best idea.
He's not the strongest 1v1 melee duelist, that's up for grabs for Trundle, Trynd, or Jax.
He's one of the strongest early game, but by no means the strongest overall, he's a counter duelist.
As a seasoned darius player, i would say if you know what u are doing, you shouldnt need more speed. If someone gets close to u you dont NEED to stick. They die pretty fast if ur dariusing right
