Reminder that Riot has a hard-ass boner for Lulu solo lane.

If they actually hated it, then they would've torn off her limbs a year ago, and scrap the idea of "utility scalings" completely.

Lulu solo provides absolutely 0 interaction and 0 thinking involved, why is this still allowed? The only answer is because Rito loves that as much as they love Lee Sin/Thresh/etc picked into competitive because "herr derr #LCSBigPlay$".

If they really hated it, then Lulu's Q damage to minions would be reduced, therefore actually encouraging her to go botlane more. Remember when other supports such as Taric was taken toplane and then gutted instantly? They never did that because they loved Lulu solo so much, even though it has just as little "counterplay". Lulu's utility scalings on her W would've been removed instantly if they seriously hated it, but she managed to keep it because they had a boner for it.

Yeah, yeah, picking champs that's not in their "designed" role isn't bad, but not when that shit has a 100% pick/ban status. Even though there are just as great late-game scaling champs that can provide just as much powerful CC? Even though dozens of viable mages can easily shit on her, and stay just as useful later game.

In fact, the idea of utility scalings were a mistake. Remember Riot's intent on adding them in the first place, "just so they don't get outclassed by mages"? No, they don't even know that supports DO NOT build AP, since we all know BY DEFAULT they can barely afford a Morello's. What does this mean? Traditional supports are still outclassed even till this day. Utility scalings never helped supports in any way because most of the time, they don't even get to build AP, therefore making that addition useless, but only a way for people to take such supports to a solo lane to actually have income for AP. Lulu was such the case.

Yes, Karma was given the same treatment, and in fact, is pretty close to Lulu in terms of kit. She provides just as much (if not, more) damage, but the main reason she wasn't picked because she didn't have disables that can stop channels, therefore not making her a strong pick in competitive.

So what's my main point here? I want answers. I want an actual red response of how they WILL deal with Lulu solo, and (hopefully) saving Lulu support. You already have more than enough time to analyze why she's always picked, why she's such a problem, and it's already easy enough to tell why. Or what about making her a midlaner PERMANENTLY, change the "recommended items" on her damn list, and get shit straight. Or how about just admit the fact that you guys loved her solo lane so much, that you can't force yourselves to even nerf the solo aspect of it, instead of "love taps" that actually did nothing (180HP is nothing, people still pick her).
