"Talons weak right now"

Unlucky47··4 votes·761 views

Everyone thats saying this is pointing to the champion.gg page. But you know what they're not looking at? The fact that talon has a 60% winrate with 100+ games played.

If any thing the rework just made him harder to play, and people would rather he get buffed so they dont have to put any time into the champion. Same with kalista (70%) and taliyah (80%). Average is around 55%

These champions aren't weak just learn how to play them

So you're saying all/most talon mains are wrong and you just know what you're talking about, right?

Unlucky472 votes

I'm saying that if they main the champion and think he's weak despite statistics showing that he's above average if they're good with him, that they aren't really good talon mains.

MyFootUrFace2 votes

stop making a fool out of yourself. kata showed improvement in win ratio and more pick/ban after 2 weeks, why shouldnt talon be the same? oh wait just gimmie one of those "learning curve/more time to learn" lines as a way of proving your point. talon is retarded weak now, slow, and unreliable in 1v1/teamfight.

Unlucky471 votes

I gave you actual evidence though. Look at almost all the other champions and players win around 55% of games on them. Talon is 60. If that doesnt indicate a learning curve than what does?

MisterJulia2 votes

Bjergsen said he is weak , scarra said he is weak. I have a video with a riot employee being interviewed and he said :"Talon does not keep up with other assassins". But hey we have a silver player who never played Talon saying other wise so we must believe him.

got link?

Unlucky472 votes

I'm also using statistics but thats cool too.

Dynikus1 votes

you're using statistics that you don't actually understand. Do you know how many people have played 125+ games with talon since his rework?

Unlucky471 votes

No i get that i'm saying that those people who have do decent with him.

Dynikus2 votes

Those statistics are horribly inaccurate. http://champion.gg/champion/Warwick/Top according to this, players that play ww 15-50 times win 70% of the time, but people that play him 50-125 times have less than 10% winrate. But then after 125 it jumps back up around 50%.

http://champion.gg/champion/Azir/Middle according to this, players with 125+ games lose more often with azir than players with 15-125 games on him.

http://champion.gg/champion/Urgot/Top http://champion.gg/champion/Urgot/ADC http://champion.gg/champion/Urgot/Middle

Like can you actually not tell that those graphs are complete garbage?

Unlucky471 votes

Some other guy commented addressing a possibility that makes sense

Dynikus1 votes

you're basing your "facts" on an innacurate 3rd party website with insufficient data.

Using your "facts", support galio is completely OP and anyone that says otherwise is wrong or just doesn't know how to play him. http://champion.gg/champion/Galio/Support that 100% winrate at 125+ games means he's actually the best champion in the game.

Unlucky471 votes

But did you read what that guy said? Theres probably only one or two people that have 125+ games on galio and played him as support one or two games and won them. Meaning that its not inaccurate. Out of all the people that have played 125+ games on galio, they have won every game.

Dynikus1 votes

That's the exact point I was trying to make, yes. They have an insufficient amount of data. That's why I said you were using statistics that you don't actually understand, and asked if you knew how many people had 125+ games on talon since his rework. You still don't really seem to understand them though.

Unlucky471 votes

fair enough.

dominusx1 votes

talon is fkn garbage stop talking nonsence.

Unlucky471 votes

But have you actually seen a good talon

dominusx1 votes

no cause he is useless. only seen smurf stomp low elo's with talon so far nothing more. i played him a few times aswell unless i got the cheese in lane with the close range Q i was nothing. and ofc a few normal games where i match against golds and snowball by default since even ap soraka is op to them

Unlucky471 votes

champion.gg, where i got the statistics, is for plat and above. So the smurf theory doesn't fit.

MisterJulia1 votes

https://clips.twitch.tv/leagueoflegends/BeautifulJaguarTinyFace And he's just avoiding to say talon is shit .

Unlucky471 votes

No he's saying that talon isn't leblanc or khazix or rengar. He said burst potential and compared it to the other assassins. The other assassins have insane burst potential and what talon lacks slightly in that (because he still does a fuck ton of damage) is made up for in mobility

XCanoninjaX

also in AoE damage. While taking out the carry, he also does about 600ish damage to other enemies to help the team out.

DJ Lucio1 votes

Statistics may show that, but he is weak.

Very weak.

He's decent early, get's some burst in midgame if ahead, but his late game is garbage from my experience. He falls of completely and isn't worth having on a team.

TequilaZombie1 votes

This could be due to how situational he became and only those with plenty of experience knows when picking Talon is a good idea. Or it might be a highly variable value due to an extremely small player pool with 125+ Talon games. Look at Plat+ ADC Urgot's winrate. It's at a steady 46% until it reaches 50+ games, then it drops to 4.71%. This is most likely due to an abismally small playerbase that ran into a few bad games, not Urgot becoming a worse champion the more you play him.

Unlucky471 votes

Ayy someone with an actual point. That makes sense. I wouldnt pick akali into leblanc or other hard counters so I can see where that would come into play.

ChaddyFantome1 votes

Talon is mostly fine, he just needs small buffs, quality of life adjustments and bug fixes. His passive damage scales backwards is the the main outlier.

Starts too strong at level 2 and steadily gets weaker as the game goes on.

XCanoninjaX1 votes

Yes, Talon is very strong at level 2, but as the game goes on, he starts to fall off. If the enemy team decides to build health, then you're pretty much screwed unless you're bruiser Talon. His passive should do % max health damage. This way he is weaker at level 2 but gets more or less strong at levels above that.

Blade's End damage scaling should be like this: 5%+1% per level + (0.075% of AD) Grievous Wound maybe should also be added

This way damage gets progressively higher as the game goes on, but doesn't overwhelm everyone.

ChaddyFantome1 votes

idk about that, it would make him too effective against tanks imo.

Making it missing health is such would be better.

Oh boy, another shitpost.
