The actual problem with yasuo

Disclaimer. I'm not saying he is OP in any way shape or form, but he's gathered a lot of hate and I'll give my input as to why I believe he can be oppressive at times..

His e. Not the mobility part, but the damage. Versus a squishy mage, he can just max E and do ridiculous subsequent magic damage to them over time and starting E at level 1 then aa'ing the enemy mid just instantly seems to put them at half hp.

Why does yasuo's e do that much damage? why is it magic? heck, why does that shit even DO damage to begin with? If it didn't do damage, you could probably give him some love elsewhere honestly..

I mean If his E didn't do damage then he could dash around with no consequence since it wouldn't push the lane You sure we want that to go?

how about why does it do as much damage as it does? I do in fact believe he is balanced but I don't like his E numbers. It would also weaken his early cheese against squishy peeps.

Then what would you have in mind to rebalance him after weakening E Though personally, the only changes he really needs atm are bug fixes and an increased CD on ult if it's off an allied displacement

It stacks as you dash. So a good Yasuo will dash through a couple minions before you, which makes it seem like it deals that much damage

Low(ish) base damage to Champions, but has a % bonus vs Minions?

Honestly, I think the only issue with Yasuo is that he isn't fun to play against for some people.

He has clear weaknesses and clear strengths which can make him both a strong counter-pick and vulnerable to being countered.

He isn't overpowering; he's annoying to play against.

Honestly, a large part of the issue is that people just refuse to adapt to the situation or learn how to play against someone who beats them. Instead, they'll just whine and try to get whatever they can't handle nerfed.

The biggest problem with Yasuo...

Is when people make "Awesome Yasuo play" videos that people then watch and go "OMG I TOTALLY WANT TO DO THAT"

Then you get a bunch of Yasuo players who end up being the north side of useless 90% of the time because they want to be cool like that guy on youtube.

its his overloaded kit. hers hard to all in with pretty much any mid laner other than a cpl. his windshield. no poke allowed because of windwall and the shield. infinite dashes. hard to land skill shots on him. and he can easily get close and out trade pretty much any squishy and his resourcless ability spamming makes him extremely annoying to the max level to lane against. just play darius or jax or any bruiser in any lane against yasuo even mid. anyone that is melee and can bash his head in when he gets close pretty much wins u lane since yasuo scales well only against squishies and full tanks but he doesn't do well at all against bruisers.
