Filling the 120 AP gap

Riot was looking to make a new item to fill the gap left by DFG. I wondered. What is the one useful thing that not every champion has? A hard stun.

So why not make the active be about a 75s CD .5s hard stun. It still has value in AP but it can also be built on mages that traditionally do not have a hard cc to stop channels in their kit.

items that grant utility instead of pure stats? It can't be allowed.

The item better have mana on it. Or Mana regen. Doesn't need an active.

I think its time we move away from the stat stick items. Every item should have a niche regardless of what you think. Making more and more actives increases skill as well as increases item diversity.

It should not be gold-efficient for resourceless champions. Mana and mana regen are the only ways to do that without also making it inefficient for the mages who need it.

I like this idea, it could give 120 AP, 10% CDR, AND a passive that lowers mana costs on all spells by 20%. The active could stun for .75 seconds and have a 1:30 cooldown that is reduced by 2 seconds every time a spell is cast or something
