Why can't Sona get a powerchord stack when she uses her ult?

I can't help to think that this was something you guys missed when you reworked Sona, she used to get a stack on her passive when she used her ult, very damn helpful in those tight situations, even moreso now that her cooldowns on her regular skills fluctuate there was no mention to the fact you removed this element and I don't think you even knew it did, but it did

please can we have this back, it's not like Sona is a god at handling tight situations right now anyway, should be no harm done

Yes, it used to add a stack.

But Riot thought that was too much with all the other changes she had, like removal of auras, damage nerfs which pigeonholed her into 'rush lichbane or be completely useless', completely destroying her heal, and making her E the most useless ability to rank up in the game, so they removed it.

(eh, I think Sona is okay, but 21+ nerfs in one season is a bit much, don't ya think? Just get it done all at once and come clean that you need to change every single stat if you're going to do that).

It was 21+ nerfs just in patch 4.13 alone. Add in the follow-up beatings of the dead horse and the number breaks 30. Hell, if we include the nerfs in the 4 pre-season and to her most popular items while we're at it, it starts pushing 40 nerfs.

I'm honestly uncertain any other champion in the game has received nearly as much hatred from Riot as Sona has.

Q tickle bolt range is big and scary. If she wants to actually do damage she has to get up to 550 range from an enemy.

Yup, that 700 range sooo scurry. Way more scurry than 1100 range Thresh hook; or 1175 range Morg binding; or 875 range Leona sword; et cetera and et cetera.

Except those are all easy to dodge skillshots. Supports shouldn't outrange adcs with nonskillshots

WAIT, she doesn't? Whenever I play Sona Mid I try to surprise enemies when I have just one stack, but that explains why I never seem to powerchord with just R Q in that situation...

Her ult really should give her a stack. Also she should even get stacks when she casts a spell and just used her power chord. The delay seems ridiculous for no apparent reason.

Also her e is so bad it's stupid. She basically just has 1 less ability than a normal champion except when she really needs that slow or power chord ready or just has nothing better to do.

The harm is that Riot would be backpedaling on their thus-far successful efforts to have Sona removed from their game. Riot has a deep-seated hatred for Sona, you already know this as well as I do. Patch 4.13 itself is indisputable proof of this, only someone who truly despises Sona could've dreamed that long a list of such severe simultaneous super nerfs.

We here at Riot Games believe that Sona Soraka and our new reworked Karma are ONLY ALLOWED TO BE PASSIVE SUPPORTS WITH NO DAMAGE OR SELF RELIABILITY

Anyone who dares play these people in mid lane will just get our LeaverBuster system restrictions and just have to wait like, 15 minutes before you start a game. Because that solves toxicity and AFK'ers.
