the auto chess mode is kindof a neat idea, but i was personally hoping theyd finish their card game

at one point, riot was working on a collectable card game based on league, that was eventually dropped.

i think this would have had a lot of potential. there are a lot of great concepts out there (not just hearthstone and mtg). i would have loved to see a slay the spire style gameplay for example. if done properly, it could have been balanced for pvp aswell as randomized runs.

they could have worked card drops into level and honor capsules for example.
