Since Lucian,every champ...

Is either hard to play against or not playable at all,Jinx being the only exception. Crit Lucian is just impossible to fight. It's confusing, you aren't sure if its the damage output on his abilities or the fact that he is dropping two critical attacks on you per second(its the crits),but unlike jinx,he can jump walls. Yasuo. did Yasuo really get nerfed? His barrier surprisingly minimises a lot of poke and the only way to truly out range him is to stay away from your minions. Theres also the wind wall, which pretty much means he isn't going to die in the mid lane. Oh yeah and his 100% crit chance, cant forget that. there are also the free abilities,so forget about beating his cs. Velkoz ,Vel'Koz,poor Vel'Koz. he just can't match up to the current assassin meta. His kit even looks like a support kit with the slows/interrupt. too much kiting, not enough damage. hope he doesn't fight Syndra. Braum . Fking Braum. Honestly what kind of passive is that? turns every adc into Kennen just on AAs. that should be his Q not freaking passive. dodge a skillshot, get his AA,stunned. Also, theres the portable wind wall on the bot lane too,so how do you beat Braum +Lucian ? Braum lands an AA,suddenly it seems like... Braum Braum Kennen Kennen Braum

Gnar is a pain to lane against, slows, speed boosts and cross dimension travelling if your jungler ganks from behind. Counterplay?Proc his jump, ask for a gank. Also, simply avoid his mega form. team fight potential with 2 adcs is now @ 0. So how to beat Gnar, you ask? If you can't,just survive the laning phase, its basically a 4v5 when he exits his Mega Form. ADC by day,Fighter by night. Engage during the day, don't fight at night. Azir ,another lane pain. Outranged yes,but kill potential? all he can do is summon a bunch of pets. how can that kill anyone? kind of useless like Velkoz Also his ultimate is a disengage. like Sion 's Yup,Sion. His Q needs to be charged up to mean anything, easily sidestepped, even slower than syndra's Q+E with less range. His W is an explosive shield...that can only be detonated after 2 seconds. People die in 2 seconds. his E is a flying minion.... The slow/armor drop is ok,but its kinda...lame... His R is a mad man racing across the land, which everyone knows when activated. get behind a destroyed turret or enter the jungle,or of course, sidestep. because not much people have gap closers in the top lane coughcough Riven . So Sion's entire kit is trumped by..right clicking. Soraka 's rework didn't seem to do much if anything. Starcall is now ranged, but her heal is now close ranged. with a 10% max health cost.still mana cost too. Luckily starcall heals it back up if you get the adc, support and jungler in one shot. LeeSin :Soraka heal me Soraka :I can't,you are too far Soraka runs up Jayce QUICK KILL SORAKA Caitlyn GG Support is feeding. I remember when Soraka/Cait meant that cait didn't need to recall unless it was to buy. The AoE silence+Root though is pretty nice, and her passive makes for a great two-man escape. So why isn't she seen any more? honestly. is this supposed to be a new meta?

League wanted to nerf Lucian, heck they even gave him some needed nerfs.....HOWEVER.....they then BUFFED HIM to the point that his nerfs meant nothing..told us that "Lucian was becoming too weak" and then afterwards said " Oops, we were wrong, his dash uses mana again....until the 5th level, then it's free." Ya, great job rito, so tell me again, how many champs have you nerfed to the ground and left that way? #poorzac Zac

Drogmyre2 votes

Zac's kit was poorly thought out, IMO. If he's not intentionally nerfed to be underpowered, he's basically a tank with massive %hp damage, a large amount of CC and mobility, and just generally gives no fucks. Giving him %hp damage broke him.

Lucian can be fixed in a couple of ways, all regarding his doubleshot: Remove it, prevent it from applying on hits or crits, make it have a significant cooldown, make it time or attack based (think Caitlyn or Ziggs' passives), or make it only apply when a certain ability is used. Doubleshot is an INSANELY strong mechanic that needs massive downsides in order to be balanced.

Also to your #poorzac, #poordarius :(

uhm...can you explain why you think darius isn't playable? here in the heart of elo hell he is one of the scariest tanks. sometimes.

Drogmyre2 votes

It's not that he's unplayable. He's just my favorite champion, and over the course of him being in League he's basically been nerfed to hell and back to hell.

He's like Axe from DotA 2, who is my favorite hero in that game. Except that Axe doesn't get nerfed for being Axe.

It was a joke and a bit of QQ from a player who really likes Darius and wishes Riot would return his reset instead of the current 'oh look you have 20 seconds to try and get a kill, good luck.'

Totally agree he's a fucking terrifying tank when played well.

Worgslarg3 votes

BS because you want yasuo nerfed again.

He's fucking kha'zix. Just keeps getting nerfed.

hobomann23 votes

and never seems to get any less playable

Lucian needs to have Doubleshot reworked entirely or removed. It's FAR too powerful a tool to leave unconditional: even DotA 2's Weaver has restrictions on Geminate Attack: Weaver's doubleshot is an ability you have to level up, and until recently you could not crit or apply on hit effects with Geminate attack. Lucian does not have these restrictions: he innately has doubleshot, and doubleshot can apply crits and effects, which is overpowered.

Haven't really had many problems with Yasuo, tbh.

Vel'Koz needs some love. His damage is OK, but he has no mobility, his abilities are easy as fuck to dodge, and his ultimate is cancellable. He's got too many weaknesses and not enough strengths.

Braum himself doesn't necessarily need a nerf, but his 'everyone is now kennen' passive could probably use a look.

Having recently played against Gnar, I can understand people's frustrations about laning against him. However, I don't believe he's overpowered.

Wait a while before passing judgment on Azir. He's got some serious bugs, but he's got massive potential.

Sion's gameplay style has changed. I disagree with many of your points on him: I think he's actually pretty good.

Soraka's rework, however, is total shit, i 100% agree with that. She has no end-game fantasy as it is, which just SUCKS. Her old kit was cancerous, but at least it provided Soraka with a role and a feeling of impact.

Rikari1 votes

Nice points, but the point i didn't make too clear with Gnar is how badly he falls off after laning. basically toggles between marksman/fighter,which are direct opposites.

Drogmyre1 votes

Gnar's major issue is that he has no control. Mega Gnar is an extreme liability, but if Gnar had absolute control over his shift (think Renekton or Nasus ult) he'd be decent in teamfights but complete and utter lane cancer, to the point where he'd be more hated than Teemo.

He needs a way to be useful and consistent in teamfights without being overpowered in lane, which is not easy to do when you're talking about a champion who swaps between an ADC hard carry and a bruiser.

I honestly haven't played Gnar, and don't know enough about his kit, how it plays, how it functions, etc. in order to say for certain how to fix it.

Rikari1 votes

k lemme update you. Gnar has no costs. His Q is a slow that only hits once, lotta range, travels slightly behind the first target and reverses. if caught the cooldown drops. His W gives him a movespeedboost every 3 attacks and takes lets say 15% of your max HP,no cooldown. His E is a gapclose that triggers again if it lands on ANY target. eg your jungler, your creeps, his own minions. his R only works in mega form.

Mini Form : Q-AA-AA-AA bullied outta lane or until death. If ganked,E to his own minion for a gap second to only Sion. seriously. Mega Form: Basically Nasus' ult, gives regen, health,AD. Q actually only hits one target but can be picked up like Olaf's axe for a cd drop. W now Stuns ya,slightly smaller range than flay. E is still jump but doesn't activate again on hitting a target, however slows you. R throws you and stuns if you hit a wall. This literally throws everything around him in a direction of his choosing.

You have no options playing against this thing. unlimited kite/cc.

Sounds like any form of buff to his pre-lv 11 would be massively broken, since 1v1 he's basically unstoppable if i'm reading this right.

Well I will just point out one thing first, don't judge Azir and Sion just yet. Gnar was considered even after the buffs after release yet now many are calling him op, once people start to master their kits you will be able to see what they are fully capable of.

Yeah Windwall, Yasuo in general, and Braum's unbreakable are kinda retarded. All they do is make the person playing them fell great while playing against them is annoying and nullifies most actions you take. Yasuo I admit takes some skill but there is also the fact that he has the ability to counter almost everything that happens to himself while barely giving giving the opponent a counter to Yasuo's counter play. Ex: Yasuo can activate Windwall at any time to negate most skillshots in exchange for it going on cooldown for 20 seconds. All the enemy got out of this was lowered mana, a spell on cooldown, and the feeling that their action means nothing. Even then if he did ever hit Yas the passive sheild just negates that too.

Velkoz suffers chiefly because until recently Riot never gave mobility a noticeable cost in a champion's power budget. This is shown with how almost every top tier pick has mobility and is able to do most everything an immobile champion can do and usually more.

Thank god he sucks so much.

Narasimha1 votes

Actually, Gnar STILL isn't considered op, not sure where you're getting that from. He's too unreliable and too inconsistent. Its why no LCS will grab him no matter how good his numbers are.

Rikari1 votes

I don't consider him OP,just kinda dumb. The most annoying ranged top with teemo, because what the top lane needs is more range Ryze Nidalee. He is easily countered outside laning phase though, quite sad.

Narasimha1 votes

To be fair, Nid is trash again (though I never found her op), and Ryze was forced to top lane because he literally could not handle mid lane.

hobomann21 votes

god a feel really bad for vel'koz

a minimal CC artillery mage in this meta of dirt cheap dashes, blinks and jumps

just a worse version of xerath

Rikari1 votes

Xerath is actually playable. He has the range of Syndra's E and the passive to support his mana spam. no idea why he isn't played.

hobomann21 votes

no xerath is great

i meant vel'koz is just a worse version of xerath

why isn't the viktor rework mentioned? was the change too small compared to sion and soraka?

Rikari1 votes

I actually haven't played Viktor as he isn't free yet xD i hear people saying his rework was good though, like sorakas tbh.
