Is there a way to make macros for pings and in game messages?

Since I know we aren't getting any new pings soon, is there any way I can press a button on my keyboard or mouse to have it ping wherever my mouse is and say a message like "ward here" or "don't go there".

Assuming you can set macros then yes. Macros are just button strings so you just have a macro that does Alt>left click>release alt>enter>(the message you want to type)>enter
