Will there ever come a day when a champion's Passive slot is just a flat-out clickable active ability? Kindred is pretty much there
We have the standard champion with 3 basics-1 ulti, 3-3-Transform, 4 basics. How about a champion with 4 basics /and/ an ulti? Or something that is all-together new using 5 slots?

Hupsis2 votesI believe having a high cooldown ability that is easily activatable without actually clicking the button is fine. Good examples are Azir's tower, the upcoming Zilean's time in a bottle and Kindred's passive.
They aren't hard to use and give their own kind of depth to the champion gameplay. I wish Riot continues making these kind of passives and possibly giving existing champions them (like they are doing with Zilean).
Some champions that could thematically have a cooler passive:
