Dealing with Riven tops is SO much better than dealing with Yasuo tops

When Riven was strong compared to when Yasuo is strong, I'd SO much rather deal with fed Riven top. Yasuo seems so much more unbearable than Riven because at least Riven has windows to play around in the early game.

Just pick someone who has an easy time scaling into the mid/late game off of an even lane phase. You don't have to beat him in lane, you just have to be more useful without snowballing.

After that you just have to prevent him from snowballing, which a lot of champions do really well. My personal choice is Nasus.

Play Chogath Swain Mordekaiser Diana Annie (just as some examples) against Yasuo all of them can bypass and IGNORE his windwall and make laning for him a living hell.

Riven was counterd by the most tops even when she was strong. Yasuo has stronger lvl 1,2 and 3 than her.

Ah, I see you never actually played against Riven when she was strong.

I would much rather have a champ that's actually squishy and gankable, and who can actually lose trades.

I mean, don't get me wrong, fuck toplane Yasuo and his bullshit E, but he's never been anywhere near as bad as Riven was.

This.

Riven was brokenly overpowered and brainlessly easy to use... Yasuo top is overpowered but can be defeated and isn't brainless mashing the way Riven was.
