An Idea for Zac's Chunks

Squidblimp··1 votes·664 views

How about whenever Zac picks up one of his chunks, he gains a small, short-lived speed boost? This would make his chasing ability more viable while still being able to collect his chunks, and it would offset the detours he has to make to pick up chunks. Also, he would be rewarded more for chaining chunks together, since the speed boost would be on him more constantly, and he could prevent enemies from stepping on them more easily.

I don't know, what do you think?

I've always wanted his punch to be able to grab chunks off the ground. Not much use if you punch to grab only one, but if there are three or so in the way of the punch you can heal back in a pinch.

That's a decent idea too.

As for your idea of a little speed boost is good you need to remember Zacs jump. He can clear dragon pit to golems in one jump. Adding mobility may turn him into a Riven.

Nah it wouldn't Cus rn you either detour to pick up the globs or you don't and slowly kill yourself, this speed boost just cancels out the fact that you have to run in circles basically if you want to not kill yourself

In other words, right now his mobility is in the negatives (not counting E), because he has to run around which ruins his chasing and fleeing, with this speed boost his mobility would be just average

Yeah, exactly. The speedboost would just help him out a bit. It would basically help to even out the fact that most champions can just chase a target, where Zac has to take small detours if he wants to sustain. Think of it like Draven's axes a bit. When he catches axes, he refreshes the cooldown of Blood Rush, keeping up his movespeed and attackspeed bonus. Zac would get that small movespeed bonus, maybe lasting half a second or something.

But his jump is on a fairly long cooldown. Think of it like Bard. Bard gets a speedboost when picking up chimes. I'm not suggesting he gets such a huge speedboost as Bard does, but just a short one.

i was talking with my friend about some possible changes/buffs to Zac and was thinking, why not make it to where his chunks slow enemies when they step on them as more often than not the blobs are landing behind the enemies. Also the Speed boot would be a good bonus too or even better the blobs could even be used to heal or give a speed boots (or both) to allies who step on them but at a halved or more ratio to make it a bit more balanced so support Zac does not become to powerful

"it would offset the detours he has to make to pick up chunks"

That's the point. You should have to choose between getting to your target and getting chunks.

Don't get me wrong, Zac should get some sort of buff, but I don't think that this one would fit him.
