Who can beat Fiora, 1 vs 1?

That's right, nobody can. She has few to no counters.

Master yi. Yorick and Vi can beat her early. Kayle? Nasus with stacks.

He saId 1v1, he didn't specify in lane. All though I do play Vi toplane and tried Yi twice. Vi top is fine but not good to firstpick becuase in a bad matchup you are easy to harrass with nothing ranged to farm with.

Odd that you say that he hard counters her when she is more likely to win the game against nasus

Laners who win against Fiora

Renekton Rengar Darius Jayce Kennen Yorick Riven Vladimir

They can all beat Fiora in lane

Champions who beat Fiora late game

Yasuo Riven Ryze Cassiopeia Vladimir Vayne Zed MasterYi

Now listen closely to this. ^Those champs, can only win if they play well, fiora IS NAMED "the grand duelist" for a reason, why you would fight her 1 v 1 at her strongest point in the game (late game) is beyond me, instead, what you do, is force teamfights, she is much easier to deal with, because you will have a cc for her, and for that, if you are support or mid and there is a enemy fiora, pick something like.

Malzahar Lissandra Ryze

And then there is her HARDEST counter in late game

Lulu

point and click, no cast animation, 2 second's of nothing, then go and kill her.

Fiora is a design, one of many, that punishes reckless play. You might be thinking of some other quick names; Darius, Yasuo and Illaoi should all probably come up here.

Fiora has a plethora of tools at her disposal and gets bonuses for using them correctly. This means, robbed of the opportunity to use them, she loses a lot of her gumption because most of it is placed in the fact that she can answer so many cases at once.

I mean there's a reason why she's called "The Grand Duelist". Make it more than two and she'll have a tough time. There is also her weak early game.

Early laning phase? Yes.

VoidStaresBack2 votes

And?

What's the problem with a champion being strong in laning, exactly, especially when they tend to struggle in teamfighting if they don't get ahead (much like most skirmishers do). Plus, she's not actually that strong in laning to begin with.

Fiora doesn't actually become a really strong duelist until later in the game.

Alternatively, play Quinn. I feel like Quinn is an answer for most top lane troubles.

She'll have a hard lane against Pantheon because he blocks her Q if she tries to engage & her w is useless against him

Kukan Seishin2 votes

True, until lvl 6 Fiora can all in and win, he HAS to win lane before then, and if he doesnt he will never be able to 1 v 1 her again

Purpl3Jungl31 votes

Even Pre-6 shell have a hard time poking. If he engages on her pre 6, he wins trades. If she engages pre 6, its usually about how fast she can get out if it.

Tldr a good panth will beat a fiora in trades even early

Kukan Seishin1 votes

Haha, I actually misworded that, I meant to say, AT lvl 6 Fiora wins an all in. Panth needs to get a lead early, which if he doesn't, he won't be able to 1 v 1 the fiora at lvl 6 unless she misplays pretty bad

I know as a Nasus player that if I don't screw up horribly or get ganked in the first six minutes, I've basically won the lane as soon as I hit Frozen Heart.

When I get Sheen, I know it for real.

Probably not a full AD Fiora though. Standard Fiora, yes.

SaltyKracka1 votes

Nasus actually does better against full AD Fiora. Means she's squishy, less mobile, and has much less CDR. So it's easy for him to chase her down and kill her.

But she'll be killing you in 1 Vital + 4 ult Vitals, no matter how much defenses you've got. She needs 400 bonus AD to get to that point, meaning a item 3072 item 3074 item 3139 item 3071 item 3812 build, giving 340 AD, and then AD from runes (15) and Fervor (16 AD every time she autos you, and she can get that thing stacked instantly with an auto+Q+auto+E, for a total of 419 AD. That means she even has 1 item slot left for a Randuins or something . This build has 30% CDR, meaning Fiora gets a 3 second cooldown Q, QSS to stop Wither, 400 health from BC, a 350 health shield from BT, and some Rav lifesteal to heal off the surrounding minions.

I'm not sure how much damage physical damage she'd do, with 7% armor pen mastery and BC, or if we swapped out DD for an LDR, but that alone is enough True damage to kill anything in 5 vital hits. Save a couple % before the Fervor completely stacks up.

SaltyKracka1 votes

If Fiora has gotten to that build and the Nasus hasn't already snowballed all over her face, something went terribly wrong.

And Nasus will probably lose fights if he lets Fiora get all 4 ult vitals anyways. That's why it's so important to get up against a wall and make sure she doesn't.

Depends if Nasus is stacked up enough to kill Fiora under tower. Because Fiora and Nasus both have lifesteal, poking is not gonna do much, and Fiora's Tiamat can delay pushes very well.

Anyway, I thought we were talking about 6 items late game?

SaltyKracka2 votes

Talking about 6-item late games is pointless. It's far better to talk about what you will actually see happen.

Anyways, Nasus doesn't necessarily have to kill Fiora under tower (although he generally can). He just has to be able to output enough poke to overwhelm her sustain (and unless Fiora has an awful lot of sustain, a big honking doge near the minion wave is going to do that) or be able to poke her turret down one Q at a time.

There's too many variables, but Nasus is always a snowbally lane. If you can't 1v1 him anymore, which is sadly very possible if he gets a kill lead, he autowins the lane because it's no longer possible to deny him stacks.

I made a Fiora build to deal with Nasus

item 3748 item 3022 item 3071 item 3742 item 3065 item 3047

You are reliant on your vitals for heals, but Nasus won't be able to kill you through your healing, from your ult proc

Vital heal is tiny, that's be an around ~120 health heal for each Vital proc'd. Keep in mind the ult heal also scales on AD, so it won't be huge, as well.

The Frozen Mallet is an utter waste, a Sunfire Cape outclasses it in damage and survivability in an extended trade.

This build doesn't have nearly enough damage to kill Nasus. Not through his passive lifesteal and health + armor/mr boosts. Also, a tanky build allows Nasus to Q multiple times, which is the opposite of what you want.

A glass cannon Fiora is going to be drain-tanked by Nasus tbh. A single Q from him on a Fiora that built like that will heal a big fat sexy chunk of his health.

Every single Q will heal a big chunk of his health. Also, Nasus theoretically could let her pop two or three vitals before ulting to make her effective damage throughout the fight even less, since his overall HP will suddenly be much higher. It also helps that wither, though not hurting her as much as it does Tryndamere, will definitely hurt her ability to quickly proc vitals.

Hope to Riposte the Q I guess?

The Mercurial is for the Wither.

Assuming 1k damage from each Nasus Q, he'd heal about 200 health from each one. Keep in mind that this is a super high burst based Fiora build - proccing 5 vitals takes roughly 3 to 4 seconds (auto to proc 1, ult, Q+auto+Tiamat+E for the second, run to third with Vital movespeed, Mercurial movespeed, and Phage, with a faster than normal attack animation from second E, run to fourth with Vital and Phage movespeed, then Q to last Vital).

This means Nasus gets two Q's off. Assuming Fiora survives them, that means he heals 400 health. The True damage is already 100% of his max health - that physical damage with over 500 AD isn't exactly low, and Cleaver means it's penning at least some armor - I'm sure Fiora will do at least 400 physical damage. Her basic burst combo is a >400% AD scaling, so 2000*.2 (assuming 80% damage reduction) is already 400 damage.

Darius doesn't win against fiora in lane lol

FioraWillCarry1 votes

Actually he will win hard vs inexperienced Fiora players. The instinct of most players when facing a Darius is to avoid fighting him, running away, avoiding long trades etc. as his early damage is extremely intimidating. On Fiora you have to override that instinct and go balls deep when he gets on you. Most people won't realize that Fiora can actually 1v1 Darius, even at early levels. You can kill him at level 1 if he doesn't take ignite.

FioraWillCarry1 votes

Teemo Should never lose lane to her if you play smart. Don't let her farm and don't let her kill you and the game is yours. Jax Be smart with your E. Mix up the times when you reactivate. Don't be predictable with it. Tryndamere Easy mode after level 6. You can be 0-6 and still beat her. You're also a better split pusher. Pantheon She can't buy items without farm. Nasus item 3057 = GG MasterYi Get 3 items. Never lose to her. Malphite You won from champ select. Viktor She would better serve her team by afking at the fountain. By far her strongest counter. She can't farm, she can't kill you, even with her jungler and she can't stop you from winning the lane through a massive CS lead and eventually taking her tower.
