In coordinated teams, same way Kat is good or bad via coordination. In solo, Bard is (sorry, but true) garbage since most ADC's can't solo without overextending- and most supports can't roam because they don't know how.

bard is bad whether it's in SoloQ or in an actual team so it's not about SoloQ and just bard being worthless atm

I haven't tried him. He seemed weak. I was trying to, you know, sound positive xD. I just don't want to try a support that blindly tunnels off to Demacia-Knows-Where, who tosses hp packs with low everything, who has to go find chimes as a mandation, and whose ult is simply a Zhonyas. =/ Just tried to stay positive.

Bard is actually really good, but everyone think he sucks. Give him lich bane, statikk shiv, ludens echo and deathcap and he is unstoppable.
