What Are Your Thoughts on Shyvana's Current Passive?

So with playing her a bit after her mini-rework Shyvana is a pretty strong jungler right now. But after playing her for a while I now what to get thoughts on the part of her kit that I still find most troublesome after her rework: her passive. Now I'm not going to bitch or rant on how it's terrible like I did when I first heard about it, but I just want to know what the thoughts are of players and/or mains of her about this current passive.

To me currently, I have mixed feelings about it. One hand it does offset how powerful Shyvana can be now in game while also adding a bit more interaction to it. But on the other hand its still relatively the same as before, except now it's tied to an objective which makes it a bit less reliable. The old passive, while it was boring, was at least reliable scaling as the game went on longer. Now you can technically get the same amount of bonus armor and MR when in dragon form as before, if not more than before, but again being tied to an objective means it can be detrimental if you or your team can't get a hold of controlling dragons or have poor communication and if the enemy team keeps this in mind and tries to take drakes before you. This almost makes me feel like thee 10% bonus damage to dragons is specifically put in so you're suppose to try and take dragons early.

Another part of the passive I'm not too fond of is the interaction with the other maps they're introducing to it. Yes this does mean she'll have a passive on the other maps but even then I don't feel like they interact as great as SR. ARAM gets you bonus stats for towers, which in total is 20 bonus armor and MR. But honestly this feels a lot better when compared to TT with Vilemaw. Essentially you still do 10% more damage to him as well and get the bonus stats off of him but that's my issue. Vilemaw on TT isn't the equivalent to dragon, he's the equivalent to Baron and I don't even think you can solo him on TT at all. It pretty much leads to somewhat wasted stats on this map as, like SR, you go for him when you're going to push the base, most likely once, and finish the game then and there. The passive isn't just satisfying on this map.

Overall, I'm not freaking out over the passive but I will still say it's my least favorite part of her kit still, both in interaction with the other maps and how it's still the old passive but tied to an objective and made a bit less reliable. I'd honestly wish they go back to this and scrap it for something a bit better or cooler on her. But now what are your thoughts? Do you share my opinion on the new passive? Prefer this one?

terrible, they should've taken the opportunity to add something that felt more fitting for a dragon champion.

or just kept it as it was because nobody really complained about it.

Meddler talked about nerfing it cause it apparently made her too tanky with the rest of her rework if I remember correctly but to me this doesn't make sense. You're removing the double bonus stats in favor of health when you turn into a dragon now. That alone I feel should have balanced itself out. But now with the dragon effect you can theoretically get the same 20 bonus armor as before but now also the double bonus permanently, if not more. So apparently it's a nerf early game but now to late game it's kinda a buff since you can technically have infinite gain on bonus stats.

Elders don't give resists, actually.

And changing doubled resists to bonus health was definitely a nerf, because Shyvana loves health+AD items, which resists synergize much better with than just health.

Wait really? Elder doesn't? I could've sworn in a Q&A they said it did.

Elder definitely gives resists, I know I saw them say that explicitly somewhere.

Yeah just looked it up. It does indeed give resists.

Someone on Shyvmains said it didn't, so I don't think so.

It was supposed to be a nerf.
