In what fucking universe? He's like the Caitlyn of top lane. He can duel and win against a god damn Tryndamere with 1000 gold against him. He has a ton of safety behind his spell casts to harass from the edge of the tower and maybe even kill you from it so good luck cs'ing. Ganks? Hilarious. He gains a massive shield for the damage he takes not to mention bonus health regen and free magic penetration. I can't think of maybe more than 3 bad matchups for him, otherwise you better hope the game lasts long enough to outscale him. My biggest issue with him is the fact he has NO COSTS whatsoever. Everything about this character is cancer. Please revert.

People here in the boards kept saying that "he is weak" and that he is so easy to counter since his ult can get cancelled by a QSS. But he definitely isn't weak, there is a good reason why I was pretty much permabanning this guy when I had to go top lane.

His laning phase really is oppressive. For defenses, he gets the best of 2 worlds. Healing champions can sustain themselves between trades while shielding champions can use the shield efficiently during fights without it being reduced by GW. Mordekaiser has access to both. In combat, he can shield himself. If he isn't going for a trade, he can use the spell to heal himself up, giving him sustain.

Most melee champions can't dare to trade with him at all, since he will outdamage most of them. His passive, which is dealing damage basically just for existing next to the enemy gives him so much consistent damage.

And the cherry on the top is that he has absolutely no costs on his spells. No mana, hell, he doesn't even have health costs anymore. He can just sustain and fight endlessly.

So yeah, Mordekaiser is definitely not weak. I will keep banning this champion in the top lane.

whoever says morde is weak is not that wise lol.

one of the highest winrates for both mid and top. new conq is really good with him. he already had built in pen so the true damage didnt do much for him. he now gets more healing and damage, which results in even more healing.

I mean no, in no universe is Morde a weak champion. When he gets fed, he becomes insane. If you make a mistake near him, he'll probably kill you or at least chunk you. And to top it all off, he doesn't take much skill.

Now, with all that said, here's the kicker: I just described most of the strong melee top laners.

Morde isn't weak, its just that a lot of players I play against don't play Morde correctly. A bad Mordekaiser player just...isn't very strong. If Morde misses so many Q's and E's, he's kinda asking to be beat up. Also, ulting at horrible times when he's in the advantage (when his jungler ganks for example). He's only a two level difficulty champion. I don't really hear "Mordekaiser is weak" anywhere tbh.

Hes doing good right now because Conq got changed to be better for him. The healing is pretty meaningful early, which is where he struggled despite being made to be a good early game juggernaut (man, who does that remind you of who got nerfed for funzies?).
