I don't remember how to lane against Morde, how do you deal with the Shield?

Just got out of an extremely annoying game where I was doing Trundle top in Teambuilder and got against a Morde. Haven't played Trundle in awhile, felt like dusting him off. Morde was un touchable, he kept massively out-trading me, and he went on to get several multi-kills on my team and carry the entire game. On several occasions we caught him alone and ganged upon him, but he somehow healed from 20% hp to almost full instantly and 1v3d us, with only a WotA to give him spellvamp.

It was my fault for feeding him and I don't want to fuck up a match that badly again, but I couldn't figure out how to deal with his lane bullying since that damn Shied passive never seemed to go away and absorbed everything I tried to do to him.

Going al in, his base health is rather low and his early cds are high, his initial damage especially with q is intimidateing, but there really isn't much following after if you stay in the fight(provided you play a champ with sustained damage, but trundle is prettymuch the king of sustained damage) Playing around the 3ed Q helps aswell, he only has a short window(2sec i think) to use it, if you stay out of range for that time and then re-engage it should be rather easy

If you fight him with multiple members, his e will give alot shield and his W can heal alot, the answer is cc+burst. Again, his basevalues are low, if he didn't invest alot into tank items, he should drop fast despite his initial shield, but if you don't kill him fast and he can get off another E, he becomes supprisingly hard to kill.
