Just like what people thought about AP Varus. You could build it. He did have AP scaling- just most people thought it was trash. In fact people thought it was/has been trash for the last 6 years? Look at it now.

Well kai'sa is the same way. Nothings preventing you. Just people doing think it's good. You really only have 1 , kinda 2 abilities to play around as AP kai'sa though.

Reasons for the Rageblade: It isn't the AS, it is the fact that it and Gunblade, with the Ludens, allows Q and W to both evolve - and it aides in the damage of both. On the instances where I DO end up going I.E. and Shiv... then the AS helps, I am not locked in on my itemization being unable to switch to counter the defenses they choose (I don't HAVE to switch anything at all), and it continues to boost all of her skills further.

Then again I also run her Dark Harvest with Bone Plating and Overgrowth secondary. A bit lower early game damage output, harsh late game burst, and toughness with her ult.

It's optional. Full AD, AD/AP, or full AP. If you want to go hybrid, then go for it. Stop waiting for someone else to show it to you first.
