I want season 5 style and structure of play to be returned.

I don't like this season (so far). It's all filled with which champions can get the lead in the first 5 minutes and take over the game. The snowball potential is way too strong and there isn't anything called late game.

Season 5 here is what you did right:

Cinderhulk: Yes it was way too strong, but highly nerfed, but it brought in new champions into the jungle and made team fighting a more effective component of league.

Wards: These bloody things existed. VISION is key to league of legends, not having much vision to ponder with gives all the champions that are strong now an easier time

Tanks were ruled in a ton: A tanks role offers CC, protects priority champions, and effectively tries to absorb as much damage as possible. In this season, they are ruled out over mobility again

Season 6 so far:

WAY too much snowballing: I mean this is incredible. Which ever team gets the first blood, that dictates the win. Especially if the top laner gets ahead, he can solo Rift Herald and free push to end the game. This bring game times SUBSTANTIALLY low. Also having no vision makes the game pace faster and faster. When was the last time you ended a game in season 6 where majority of your team (60%>) were level 18?

Late game is not possible: Team comps designed for late game, or teams wanting to bounce back with scaling is nearly impossible. Devourer in the jungle, constant lane pushing is way too high.

Many strong champions are AD who push towers very easily: This is self explanatory

TL;DR - Season 5 was a great season. The central theme was DIVERSITY, and you brought a lot of it. I want it returned because tons of champions and team compositions were possible. Season 6 seems more like FAST & FURIOUS. Who can bring out the champion to quickly snowball and end the game?

I feel like how important teleport was, really helped the meta. Teleport stopped ADC's from building huge leads bot lane, since the second they pushed up, they got ganked by mid/top. Wards also let more champions splitpush, instead of relegating splitpushing to champions who can only splitpush like Tryndamere.

Something funny about S6 I noticed, the definition of late game. Late game used to be a 5-6 item build, level 18, 40+ min. Now it's 3 items + boots, level 16, pre-30min.

Yes I completely agree. Teleport was a huge factor.

Teleport still exists, and the enrfs weren't that bad. The big issue for TP are the vision changes. For good TPs, you need good wards. Now you barly have any wards, and half of them are blue wards you can't even use TP on.

I have the feeling this has something to do with it- http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/f1kn5XWz-the-fact-that-adcs-are-so-broken-right-now-is-just-a-buildup-of-the-last-few-years But I agree, at least there was some variety in champion compositions; at least the game was long & fun, instead of these short snooze fests.

so much variety when you are playing ranked and get accused of trolling when you play a jungler who is not named Sejuani or Gragas

. . . And why should I care about ranked troubles?

for what you said, was untrue, season 5 had no variety.

LOL! Even Urgot was played Galio was viable... hell there was not single champion unviable.. yeah.. no variety, for sure...

ZT Xperimentor3 votes

It had more variety than season 6 has had so far; triple adc teams using the same 5 adcs isn't variety when there's well over a dozen that should be viable just from that class. They've been buffed so much that they're crowding out other roles entirely, where's the variation? What does it have to do with ranked and why should I care? Normals are worse!

Early mid season 5 was as good as this game gets epic team fights with beefy frontliners and here is what made it cool which game had the strongest backline that supported the frontline and how well they protected their backline from assassins. This meta was good and interesting because we had epic initiations amazing confrontations explosive team fights etc. This meta is nothing but squishy tanks chasing blue ezreals and BLucians across the entire fkn map, no actual teams fights jus extremely long and extended skirmishes if u ever manage to get to that , becUse games are determined before that usually if u can survive laning vs an ad carry and don't let them snowball.

I kinda also want to go back to playing Lolo on NES while I wear my onesy and my sipee cup. Ah the good days.

time to get downvoted

CInderhulk meta was brainless and stupid, it was play sion/nautlist top, sejuani/gragas jg chogath/urgot mid Braum/Alistar support and sivir/corci adc with some tristana

The meta was stupid, it was the same champions every game, the champions in said meta were herp derp tanks or get shat on and every game was overly drawn out 60 minute noodle fests in both casual and pro play

Never bring it back, whoever praised it is a herp derp Im sejuani "main" and I can miss my ult and my knock up but its ok for i have a aoe slow that murders everyone as I recover mana back so fast to the point It is laughable.

I like how most people seem to forget that S5 started the same sort of way - short, snowbally games. Games lengthen as the season goes on.

Also, I like knowing I can make surprise moves because it's no longer possible to ward a full half of the map. Fog is fun. SMART vision is key now: not just placing wards, but placing them because you need them here and not there, or because they just used their only sweeper, or because Udyr is likely to come from that point.

I would argue that this current season is much better than S5 at the same point in terms of diversity, particularly in the jungle. We'll see as it goes on.

You want late game hypercarries to dominate in every role and every game to drag on forever? Because that's what Season 5 was. Welcome to the League of Vayne, Jinx, Veigar, and Gangplank.

LegitBacon661 votes

I don't remember seeing a veigar ever....

Slamurai Jack2 votes

You don't remember that stretch of about 3-4 patches where Veigar was in every single game?
