Can someone clue me into what makes people sit through a game like this? They got 0 kills, and 0 objectives of any kind yet they chose to sit through 21 minutes of this pure shitfest stomping? Like, why do people do this to themselves when there is the option to surrender? Is getting stomped on, fun? Am I missing something here?

Regardless of the situation of the game, one can find pleasure in the sole act of playing. That's an extreme of the spectrum, the opposite being people not having any fun unless they are carrying and praised for that.
These players are rare enough to allow surrender at 20. Ranting about these extra 5 minutes seems excessive. I can't imagine the ruckus you'll bring the day your train will be cancelled and you'll have to wait for the following for a couple more hours. You can't control everything. Not being able to surrender when you'd like is the bad part, having opponents who think differently than you and that you can outsmart and overcome is the good one. Yin and Yang. You have to deal with both as they are intricately linked.
I don't get the luxury of playing multiple consecutive games. A ff@15 cuts my play time by 5 mins.
I'd rather play and try to come back than not play at all.

I trap, people in my games all the time, because they need to learn how to deal with it.

There is a sub-board for ranting, and one for player behavior. IMO this post doesn't belong in gameplay.
Oh holy fuck I'm sorry you had to sit through that. To be completely honest, if my team hadn't surrendered at 15 minutes I would've went afk. I can not imagine the mindset of someone who would refuse to surrender that. Perhaps it was some twisted notion of revenge that caused them to decide to make you sit through the game? I know some people say stuff like "you fed and now I won't ff so that you are stuck here," but in your game that'd be insanity.
surrendering is disrespectful to everyone playing (your team and enemy team) and if you constantly surrender then there is no reason to play to begin with. also what people do not realize is the goal is to destroy nexus. not get fed off your ass and force the enemy to surrender.
