Bronze VS Silver - is there much skill difference?

I finally got myself out of bronze and now I am silver for the first time in my life!

I wonder if I can expect much harder games now or other significant changes?

Depends where in silver. High bronze low silv is pretty much the same, but the level in high silv obviously is a bit different.

When you are at your level the difference is huge.

If you ever get to plat or higher you will see the difference in skill was actually barely anything.

Depends on the distribution model and the MMR values that match it. Plus you need to assume accurate placements for good data and avoid using high uncertainty accounts.

A class interval in most Logistical distributions is like 3 to 1 odds.

Silver players are mostly just as dunce as Bronze players. They do all the same r%%%%%ed shit you see Bronze players do.

That being said, Silver will be a lot harder than Bronze for a couple reasons. Firstly and most distinctively, Silver players group a lot more and I do mean a lot more. So unless you play champions that are great at team fighting, games are going to be nearly impossible to win from behind and they are going to be harder in general regardless of who is ahead. Silver player group non stop from 15 to 20 minutes into the game and many times, it can start even earlier than that.

Silver players feed a lot harder than Bronze players. You haven't seen true feeding until you play in Silver. In Bronze, a team mate goes 0-2 in lane and you might see him make a come back and end up leaving lane 2-2 or something. This will never happen in Silver. If you team mates goes 0-2 in lane, you can be damn sure that fucker is leaving lane 0-9. There are far more hard stomps in Silver than in Bronze. I think this is because Silver players have a better understanding of how to press leads in lane so they will almost never lose a lead.

Silver players have large egos. They are extremely abusive and unforgiving. Flame wars are very common in Silver matches.

Silver players are as mechanically adept as high Diamond players. You will get outplayed in ways you will never ever see in Bronze. All those fancy mechanics you see your favorite steamers pulling off, you will see it in Silver. Only difference from a high elo player is, after that brilliant mechanical outplay, he will chase the low health Amumu into an unwarded bush and die like a r%%%%% to 3 enemies hiding within.

Silver players also farm a lot better than Bronze players.

Kind of but not really. I feel the biggest issue of bronze players is that they don't know how to play towards a champion's weaknesses or strengths. They're the sort to enter a prolonged fight against a Darius just for not knowing he wins practically all of those, but that's only low & mid bronze. High bronze is practically silver, though silver is a **little ** bit different the higher you go.

I think the first thing you'll notice is that there will be more people who freeze the wave against you. In bronze, pretty much everyone permapushes, whereas someone in silver might sit atop their wave and try to kill you if you approach it. Ganks are also a bigger risk whereas junglers in bronze would let you sit in front of someone's turret for 5 whole minutes. Enemies roam a bit more, and teammates are generally on the same page more often. I'd say the players have way stronger mechanics, but I'd be lying. There's a serious variance in the mechanics of silver players. Some make you think they belong way past silver and others make you wonder how they left bronze. There's really not much else.
