Have Face of the Mountain and Eye of the Equinox have execute damage for ranged attacks.

Thresh in the late game.

To be clear the execute for ranged attacks would only be on the FULLY COMPLETED ITEM with the baby items remaining how they are without the execute damage for ranged attacks, helps some champions execute minions in the late game, whether you are support Ivern or Thresh.

Reliable ranged execute procs means people can just hang back and casually pump out heals. The melee execute is in exchange for the risk of getting up close.

ONLY ON THE FULLY UPGRADED ITEM! Read the post, makes you sound less dumb.

I like the idea.

People are hype about Thresh being OP right now, so I'm guessing they're not going to like the idea.

Didn't most Threshs switch to coin for the increased mana for hooks?

That's the drawback for using that item on ranged. Deal with it. No easy waveclear for you.

Considering the item isn't exactly super costly, a lot of Ranged Champs would take it and bear through the first stages in order to reap the benefits.

I wouldn't suggest you to hold your breath about that change.

No they wouldn't, still is better for them to get spell thiefs, the execution damage for ranged champs was only removed to stop marksmen from getting it and for ranged supports do not get free easy pushing for a fast level 2 - so having the ranged execution for the completed item still ensures that exploitation will never occur and only champions like Ivern and Thresh would get benefits from it for the late game when laning ends.
