Ranked play after the season ends, what happens?

So since the ranked end is tomorrow, what happens if you play ranked in between the season end and the ladder reset? does your new mmr affect the reset?

Just say you end at Plat 4 and then you get to plat 2 in the off season, what happens? Just say you end at Plat 4 and then you derank to gold 3 in the off season what happens?

nothing 'happens' that you can see. however your MMR might be slightly higher come season 10 placements.
