given the "high skill cap" of Yasuo this should expected.

Not everyone is as good with Yasuo as they think they are. This is a more healthy win percentage as you should get mileage based on how you use him and not how items and masteries stack.

And there was much rejoicing

Let's be real, I'd be surprised if you came here to post this thread without expecting that response. Somebody's gotta do it.

Yasuo isn't an easy champion to play. He requires skill. A very good friend of mine is main Yasuo and this week he won like 70% of games when he played Yasuo, carying the team almost every time. He also said that Yasuo is better now with those new masteries, that help him very much. I see Yasuo almost every game, but not all of them are good. Some of them are playing him because they saw that in this patch he has more advantages than others mid laners, but the problem is that they don't know how to play him properly. That's why Yasuo got a small winrate...but this not means that he's bad. He's very good but you need practice and skill.

Maybe you would be able to gauge champion skill if you were higher than silver 4

He's not, hes one of the champions that will always be OP if he's around or over 50% average win rate because his win rate is garbage with inexperienced players. He's always been a champion that is known for feeding for a reason...

I'm a hard yasuo defender and I'm happy that this is the case I keep telling people Shiv was offering too much damage for yasuo and now that it's been nerfed yasuo is in line

This is a good thing, no? It means that Yasuo was indeed op due to shiv offering sooo much damage, now that Shiv is nerfed, only the more experienced Yasuo players will be able to use him effectively as it should be. Thats a healthy winrate isnt it?
