The only issue with Ap Ez for me is how low his mana cost are compared to other champs.

But with this in mind how does Riot balance that without hurting AD Ez. (In the past they say you can't so they remove one version)

Ap Ez setback used to be wave clear. Now that doesn't exist which is why it works regardless of lich bane actually being stronger for AP Ez in terms of burst.

This isn't the point of this thread, but her major setback is how easy it is to zone her out of cs for most the game. Which was in a way AP Ez setback but now you can just smite the wave and aoe it down with runegalive.

before rune glaive i mained ap ezreal to plat 2 on my main, without R cs was hard an if it got to the point where everyone came mid an took your cs defending the tower, youd fall off quick as you couldnt get many kills in team fights or split push that well either.

She doesn't need to farm minions in lane, she can farm champions, especially on bot lane.

imo we can have both ezreals, riot just need to stop pretending that they like diversity when what they do is always kill it like they did to ap mf, ap ez, ap trist. Imo riot just need put more efforts on it.
