Nerfs on top of nerfs? Just delete the clown.
Nerf Change Deceive cooldown to be 16/15/14/13/12 from 14.
Nerf Change passive to be 130% from 120-145%
You decided at Cry-it HQ that it isn't good enough giving him a power-shift, we need to stomp on him some more.
Nerf Deceive by removing base damage, making it a regular attack
2 days later decide that a power-shift isn't at all what you want, you just want to remove him altogether, but you won't delete a champ.
Change Nerf Deceive cooldown to be 16/15.5/15/14.5/14.
Raise CD, Lower damage, Lower critical ratio. A bit extreme? How could you possibly determine within a 2-3 day time frame that the initial changes weren't enough?
Why did you bother giving him a preseason update if you want to nerf him back to non-existence his old status anyway?
Why don't you realize that you will NEVER be happy with him?
Since his release you have tried the following:
Bug Fix - crit interaction and broke him for an entire patch (TLD fiasco) Nerf - Lowered AP ratio on (Q) Nerf - Lowered AP Ratio on (E) Nerf - Lowered AD Ratio on (E) Nerf - Lowered Base damage on ult Bug Fix - (W) not returning to stealth Bug Fix - Interaction with Bloodthirster Nerf - (W) now attackable from further away Nerf - (W) now activates when revealed. Situational Buff Nerf - Increased Cooldown on (Q) Nerf - Removed base damage on (Q) Change - Moved (Q) scaling to Passive Nerf - Lowered critical multiplier on passive Nerf - Hextech Gunblade now scales with level Indirect Nerf
All in the space of what, 5 patches?
Nerfed almost every single patch, yet no change to his win rate. Now why is that?
You need to sit down at your big table and think about what direction you want Shaco to head in. If you want him to be an assassin, why are you moving his burst to sustained? If you want him to be a sustained fighter, why make him so squishy?
Take a look at his common build paths.
AP -
AD -
Tank -
Not going to mention lethality build, because even Sona would build lethality if she dealt physical damage.
He is also able to solo Rift Herald.
They all have one thing in common. Artificial damage.
Shaco himself doesn't do a lot of damage, his scaling are garbage and so are his base values.
He simply builds artificial upfront damage items to get his burst.
Ezreal abuses an item, item gets major changes. Shaco abuses an item, Shaco gets major changes.
Why don't you talk with dedicated Shaco players about where his power comes from, and address the issues from there.
You have taken almost all the damage away from his kit and yet there isn't any significant progress to "making him fun to play against". In fact, the Cheeto fingered bronze lords crying for his nerfs probably find it more frustrating, after his kit gets molested, because now they don't have any excuses for getting outplayed.
Why do you continue to Meddle (pun intended) in something you clearly do not understand?
