Remember those days where you banned shit you didnt want to face?
Now those days are replaced with banning things you don't want your idiot teammates to try to replicate from LCS

You know what's worse than your teammates trying to replicate the weird pick they saw in lcs? Tilting your teammates before the game even starts by banning their pick.

I'd rather tilt someone into dodging if they insist on playing mid gangplank that they can't 2 barrel combo even if the enemy team is afk
Alternatively, you might tilt someone into trolling and playing something a lot worse. GP mid isn't even bad.

It is if they can't do anything but use their Q against an enemy.
how do you know that if you haven't even seem them play yet? lol

Same reason you ban shit you don't want to face and aren't sure the enemy is even good with said champs.
So you're just assuming before the game even starts that someone can't play a champion they're hovering in a role that's not uncommon for them?
[zombie-brand-facepalm]
So you are just assuming that there is a player on the enemy team that knows how to play Rengar?
So you are just assuming that there is a player on the enemy team that knows how to play Rengar?
Literally this. Why should I assume someone on their team can play a champ known to be OP or strong over a teammate playing something terrible.
EXACTLY! I can plan my gameplay around Rengar, and how to shut him down.
I CAN'T BUY WARDS TO MAKE MY VAYNE NOT SUCK DICK And tbh, if they are so unstable that they are gonna tilt and troll bc they didn't get their champ, well I doubt they would have made it the whole game happy, vayne or no vayne.
Ban Rengar to thwart enemy = remove the possibility of a good Rengar on the enemy team and hopefully tilt a Rengar player.
Both are good results for you and your team.
Ban GP to keep ally from playing him mid = remove the possibility of a bad GP on your team and guarantee that your mid laner is now pissed and tilted.
The first result is good for you and your team if they would have sucked. The second result will ensure that you have a bad game no matter what.
Or I HATE playing against gangplank, and don't want him to be picked up by the other team before my 3rd rotation midlaner.
If I hate playing against Sion and hate playing vs him more than anyone else, and you are last pick, I will still likely ban Sion, since he is not first-pick material.
ALSO: If you are going to get tilted and ruin the game just because you didn't get the champ you wanted, you have a really big attitude problem that extends beyond the GP ban.
Lastly, I can counterplay champions on the enemy team. There is NO counterplay to shitty / trolling teammates on your team. Vayne actually turns people into useless lumps of toxic waste, so I ban her.
See, that's understandable for popular champions (or OP champs like release Camille), but for most champs, there's no reason to do that. And, if you really have a problem with it and don't want the enemy picking it first, see if one of your teammates can grab it first and trade.
Not getting a preferred champion isn't usually a big deal for people. If the enemy picks or bans it before they can get it, well, that's too bad. Just pick another champion. The problem is when their teammates intentionally ban their pick intent. That's rude and petty.
Tilts his own team, wonders why team is tilted, blames teammates for loss XD
You remind me of those guys who spend all game talking shit to one of their teammates then can't wrap their minds around why that same teammate makes no effort whatsoever to help them in any way and instead watches them die every time.....well gee, this isn't rocket science......
op.gg
If you have 0 career games with Yasuo, but hover him, I'm banning him.
Well, if someone trolls, that's their fault, not the fault of the one who banned their pick. Even if the player who banned is a dick for doing that, this doesn't make the troll player any less guilty.
So true. I lock in Soraka mid/top when people ban my picks deliberately.
Yeah, easy fix is to ban trolling players.
It's pretty annoying when someone intentionally bans your pick though for the sake of trolling ._. or just by assuming you're bad
I'd rather tilt someone into dodging if they insist on playing mid gangplank that they can't 2 barrel combo even if the enemy team is afk
I don't get tilted into dodging, I get tilted into kalista support starting cull with cleanse and ignite as my summoners and playing agro.

Hahahaahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahahahahahaahahah! End me.
Don't judge my MF support
cough don't play this in ranked cough
cough if you are going to play this in ranked make sure you are a 5 man party and you actually know why it works and have put in practice and you have an Ashe/Jhin/Varus isn't that bad ADC to go with it cough
cough full ap mf cough
All this coughing. You guys need some Advil ?
Isn't that for headaches? A cough drop might be better for them.
Ah I stand corrected.
cough weed so strong cough cough hit far too big cough
I ban things that are objectively broken and tilt me off the face of the planet -- Kha, Hec, Draven (if I'm ADC), etc.
cough Did somebody say Jayce? cough
Wasn't an appeal of League that anyone could replicate what the pros do with enough practice? Why deny them the practice (assuming this is their first time) and immediately assume the worst from your teammate?)
Wanna bet you're the type to spam-ping "?" over your teammates hoping it would motivate them into improving their gameplay?
For every role I play, I usually ban a champion that I struggle with/hate playing against...
Top: Teemo Mid: Fizz Jungle: Master Yi ADC: Vayne Support: Malzahar
I just ban Vayne because the Vayne on my team will uaually win lane -> dive base when they still have inhibitor towers -> throw the game while we want to do baron and push for a win.
Like when there's a cheese Lethality Sion build on the front page of Reddit that someone feeds their ass off with?
That just means they're using their passive effectively.
Must not have been that effectively if he was 2/8. After I give him First Blood.
That healing in the end-game charts, though.
Or you could just, you know, not be an asshole and allow people to play there champs. If you ban my pick I'm probably going to pick a troll pick and make you look like shit.
Why tho. Just because some bans your pick doesnt mean you have to ruin the game for the rest of your team. You are what's wrong with the community. Yeah if someone bans my champ im gonna be upset but im not gonna troll and feed. Grow up and get over it
Edit: that's why you're bronze
Did I say that I was going to try to lose? Or did I say i'd make them look like shit. FYI that means i intend to carry with my 'troll' pick. If I try to go akali jungle and you ban her. I'm gonna play kat and cheese another lane at level 3 and never gank yours.
I'm what's wrong with the community? No. I think you've got it backwards. It's people like you who are wrong with the community. People who think that them believing they're right give them the excuse of being dicks to the rest of us.
You're not gonna gank someone's lane because they ban your champ? That's so stupid. I understand it's annoying whenever people do crap like that but be the better person carry them win the game make them look like shit report them and move on. All you are doing is dropping down to their level of toxicity
I generally ban Lee Sin because I am just tired of seeing him on 99% of my games that he is not banned. Also because I don't want him to kick out of my turret in mid lane. Junglers generally rage at me for doing that but I don't understand why, with so many junglers in this game, people want to play just him.
The reason to ban Yasuo every match is doubled; cuz he will go 12/2 if he is an enemy and 2/12 if he is your teammate. [zombie-brand-clap]
That's not the best attitude for climbing. My favorite rules for SoloQ are:
They contradict each other a bit, but there would not be a point to try to climb in SoloQ if you always just assume your team to be shit
lol wut
That's always been the case? "The Shaco Effect" has existed since Season 1.
Well I ban katarina. Not only because she is op, but also because I hate facing her
