Galio now is nerfed so why he is still permabanned ?

The hotfixes are generally implemented in a manner that most of the playerbase don't really notice them.

Because very few people go back to re-read the patch notes to look for hotfixes.

Because it's a hotfix. Even if it's documented people usually don't check patch notes every day.

Riot should send a notification like "Hey we made some hotfix changes! Take a look at the patch notes!"

Do you realize the amount of bug report threads there are about how Relic Shield isn't working?

Most people don't pay attention to things.

People didn't notice the hotfix for one thing (no everyone is on boards, not everyone looks at patch notes).

Also he's still a pretty strong laner against a lot of mages.

Because his passive and E both still have crazy high damage.

Just the nature of the champion is ungodly annoying so ofc people will ban it just like they ban yasuo cuz its kit is toxic as hell to play against.

Like its so dumb to play against cuz he can free farm with his wind all game long and not get punished for it being on CD cuz he can just dash away or taunt u. Plus he has an ult that helps his team a ton and transports a fucking annoying tank that does tons of damage and cc right into middle of a fight... :) its not that great but still... Annoying champion will get banned.

He barely got nerfed. Keep in mind he's still easily stronger than last patch when he was already OP.

This is what happens when you powershift an OP champ. It's still OP.
