It is unhealthy, it is toxic gameplay, it is a massive symptom of lacking tank itemization. The reason AP malphite is way more toxic tham most burst mages is that he is supposed to be an armour tank. Even though malphite increases the value of armour, his most efficient build is still building full ap assassin and 1 shotting entire backlines with his ult. It is impossible to stop his ult dash and it is impossible to dodge unless you have inhuman reflexes.

His tank build still remains the more picked build.

Get a pen and paper and know to the second what his cooldown is of his ult and play around it.

He is very weak pre-6 and can’t do much beyond one shot a single target even if he does get rolling. Instead of focusing on counterplay when he gets his items, press your edge before he gets there.

I must be a robot then. It's not that hard. A max range ult gives you enough time to dash or flash out of there. If you don't have a flash or dash just don't hump your teammates legs.
