Can slows ACTUALLY slow??
Call me old fashioned, but when I learned about slows from playing old games like RPGs and RTSes (starcraft, warcraft, etc), they used to mean something differently than what a slow means in this game. Could we make (for season 6) slows ACTUALLY be slows?
- Slows should slow attack speed as well, not just movement speed.
- Slows should slow the speed/reduce the distance of movement-related abilities like dashes, jumps, vaults, tumbles, etc. If they want us to believe that slows impair movement, MAKE US BELIEVE IT.
- Slows should slow the animation / increase the cast time of abilities. This is slightly related to the previous point.
"Oh but then slows will be OP because every champion seems to have some sort of slow now"
Yeah? Well every champion (new champion, anyway) seems to have tons of mobility out the ass now too. Mobility creep has made it so that slows are a lot less punishing to highly-mobile champions and way more punishing to non-mobile champions. At the same time, there's a lot less point-and-click hard CC in the game since most of it has been converted into skillshots which only really helps mobile champions.
Mobility doesn't really have counterplay (aside from just being "more mobile than them?). Even targetted hard CC is barely coutnerplay because 1) there is very few of those left in the game, and 2) if the mobility ability is used FIRST and they get out of range of the targetted hard-CC then it's worthless. Recall that most point-and-click hard-CC has really low range. Counterplay needs to actually be counterplay.
Make slows be slows Rito pls.
is the only ADC with any CC in their kit. Really?
or any of the other countless annoying champions that exist and keep dashing/hopping around everywhere all the time.
). Slows are the weakest form of CC out there, and for a reason.
