More defeatism in the League: Surrender at 2
This continues to be a growing problem, expanding like a feeding Cho'gath with every passing day. More often than not a game is "decided" early by someone on the team who simply gives up. They don't do anything to stop the problem enemy, they don't adapt, they don't focus on things they CAN do. They simply give up and grump in the fountain until the 20 minute mark when they can start surrendering. They'd surrender sooner if evil Riot would change the surrender mark to 10 or even 5.
Recently, this despair horizon has been getting closer. And closer.
It's about as close as it can possibly go now. People are giving up before the minions even spawn. If the despair event horizon was closer, they'd go AFK before even opening the client. This mindset, as I've discussed months ago, is one of the most toxic behaviors in the entire game. It's why people ragequit or start intentionally feeding, trying to force a surrender. It sours every game now, even in ranked. I've also noticed that the first people who give up are usually ADCs, junglers and assassins. Guess what the community is mostly composed of?
It's become a horrible slog trying to beat the morale into everyone every single game, almost requiring divine intervention to get them to kill each and every last minion, to say nothing of turrets, jungle camps, inhibitors, dragon, baron, or enemy champions. If you're just going to grump all game about how everything is impossible and every champion except yours is OP (when you just got finished saying that your pick has the highest win and damage rate in the League right now), then don't play. You're making this miserable for everyone, and I'm tired of kicking you in the back to push you forward another step.
