I thought Riot had learned about balance from the Juggernauts...

ADCs are going to be monstrously overpowered, and I don't know why Riot isn't going to do anything about it. Preseason is going to hell, and I'm really upset because I love League of Legends. Pretty soon it's going to be League of ADCs (and Yasuo), which will not be fun. Riot says they don't want to create a rotational meta, but it's happening because of their actions. Riot please fix this before it hits live! Other than that, I love the direction that a lot of the other parts are taking (vision, masteries, ADC reworks), just not the numbers on the ADCs and ADC items.

Sorry for QQ

I know I'm circlejerking here, but ffs the ADC reworks are not even remotely close to being balanced. Mages are being trashed, and Frozen Mallet of all items is getting buffed. Every sense of balance from 5.21 is going right out the window. I know it's preseason, but still, that's no excuse. Seriously just read the PBE updates or go watch some Youtube gameplay videos. You'll see what I'm talking about.

They are doing just as they did with Juggernauts.... AS STATED http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/features/preseason-2016-crests-horizon (read "Updating marksman" paragraph 2)

"Our goal is similar to our work with juggernauts, where we targeted a group of champions (in this case six marksmen - Corki, Miss Fortune, Graves, Caitlyn, Kog’Maw, and Quinn) who occupied similar strategic spaces, and gave them a little more ‘uniqueness.’ We’re doing this in two ways: how the marksman plays, and how the team plays with them. Mega Mewtwo X and Y have better base stats, meaning science is better than God. IDK about you, but I'm going to Mega Mewtwo X or Y or Mega Rayquaza

Riot learn about balance?

We'll have world peace first! :P

Riot never learns, thats why they will end up killing their own game.

it's really sad isn't it? i really want to enjoy the game, but it's going to be really difficult if Riot doesn't do something about it NOW.

ADC's are still just as easy to kill as before. They just have different kits, hat doesn't mean they are more broken. I hate people like you who cry about changes that where needed and cry OMG RITO PLZ NERF SO OP when you havent even played it yet.

i agree that changes were needed, but have you seen some of the footage? the numbers on them are simply outlandish, similar to release juggernauts. and we all know the qq will come in anyway when it hits live and ruins everyone's experiences (besides ADC mains)

you've made a graves mistake if you think graves is balanced or squishy. a couple others are particularly broken, such as vayne with her "compensation buffs" for BoRK nerfs, kog'maw with his attack speed, and lucian now that he can build damage instead of attack speed for his ult and now that Essence Reaver is so damn strong. these champions aren't even that squishy since assassins are in such a bad state as of now. you know it's bad when you can see a Graves 1v3 get a Triple Kill in melee range when he isn't even that fed (something like 4/3/3). if you think release Juggernauts were balanced, I'd love to see a good argument, because the exact same thing is happening again and Riot isn't even trying to stop it.

"riot isn't going to do anything about it"

???

they're going to balance them out if they feel too strong or too weak

stop mindlessly circlejerking with false claims

Exactly. Despite what people think, they did it to juggernouts (mostly, didn't try Morde after last nerf though)

yeah, they'll balance, but only after they've been ridiculously OP on live for a couple patches. i wouldn't be surprised if they had to do a couple of hotfixes like with Skarner. they should be releasing content at a balanced state, not just yolo-ing it and making balance come after

you would not be able to release champions balanced

they're almost always too strong or too weak -- everyone who's been perceived as 'balanced on release' was a happy accident

if a champion seems weak on release, they probably need to do some bugfixes and let the players figure out how to play. it means that the champion is probably balanced. if a champion seems balanced on release, then as soon as the players learn how to play them, they will be overpowered. if a champion seems strong on release, then you know you've messed up big time (aka the numbers on Juggernauts and now Marksmen). mark my words, they will be ridiculously overpowered on release and you can expect 3 ADCs per team for a couple patches.

people thought Darius was shit on his rework's release though, it wasn't until after his buffs he became a menace, people thought Bard was ass on release (and he was)

Velkoz - balanced on release, has yet to become OP TahmKench - balanced on release, overbuffed

Kindred is for some godforsaken reason considered a well-designed champion by Boards, so I'll just reference this for now since she hasn't become an issue yet

your theory doesn't really hold up based on what's happened

Yasuo, Azir, Gnar, Juggernaut reworks, Fiora, Gangplank, etc, etc. It holds up pretty damn well if you can only provide 3 examples and I can off the top of my head name 9. look at the stuff on the pbe and try and tell me how it's balanced. look at the Essence Reaver especially. look at the new crit mastery and how Yasuo can get 100% crit with only two items. look at the numbers on some of the ADCs. watch some gameplay. my complaints aren't unjustified, and i know i'm not the only one who feels this way. i know for a fact we will need hotfixes and major nerfs in 5.23.

on a side note, did you know that Vayne hasn't had a single buff since release until now? i wonder why...

Big Lincoln1 votes

gnar, fiora, GP got buffed after their releases, azir got buffed/bugfixed after release

juggernauts were considered shit on PBE lol, it was because of the criticism that they got overbuffed and then reined in to acceptable power levels right now

sure yasuo gets more crit but he has less AD to back it up with, meaning the crit heal (which has a cooldown) is also weaker

yes, numbers are never balanced on the first try except for accident cases like Vel'Koz. you can't hold that against riot for not knowing where the fine line will be

Vayne hasn't gotten many buffs because she comes in and out rapidly from meta and item changes. when her items get buffed she becomes a powerful pick, when those items aren't strong in the meta or the meta is stacked against her she's weak. what's the issue here, that happens with a lot of champions

Yes I know it's not easy to balance, but it's common sense that the ADCs are going to be broken on release, and they should be trying to use the PBE for balance, not just the awesome new features and as a skin spotlight. Speaking of which, have you seen the awesome new features? Like the new client, new champ select, hextech crafting, etc. It looks amazing. Seeing that I guess I can excuse some of the imbalance, but only for one patch.
