Her own power might not have changed directly, but the power of the game around her sure has. For example, Triforce got its proc damage bonus increased to 200% base AD instead of 150% base AD.

If you let her farm enough gold for a 4k item, she absolutely deserves that 200% bonus AD proc. Like Nasus, you have plenty of time to abuse her before she gets gold for items.
