A jack of all trades

I'm not one for writing a bug spiel as to why our supreme jungle overlord, the mighty and LC$BIGPLAY making Lee Sin, is OP or at least very strong. I could list all of the things that he does and how he single handedly chokes jungle diversity like no other champ.

But instead I prefer to use the terminology that Riot used to describe why they were nerfing Lucian; because he was too good at everything and had no clear strengths and weaknesses.

Lee Sin falls into the exact same category; other than being blind, which is really only in lore, and for reasons which are now retconned, he has no weaknesses. He does everything:

Physical Damage Magic Damage AD scaling AP scaling Sustain Mobility Gapcloser Peel Slow Shield Execute AS buffs

Lee Sin is a jack of all trades. IMO, hes not OP, hes just stronger than everyone else and has been for so long that he's really just a case all by himself. There are no downsides to playing Lee, he does literally everything, so he fits into any team, can viably play almost any position and still do well. Lee doesn't need nerfs: he just needs to stop being this champion that looks like he was designed in a League of Legends "Be a Pro" mode

Now that we have rek'sai... You what would be cool? Lee sin gaining tremor vision, but much wider area and able to tell where they are if they dont move.

However, at the same time unable to benefit from Ally vision, and he can hurt his own teammates.

I do think that tremor vision would be a good nerf to LS, however, I disagree about this part. If anything I think it should be reversed. Have RekSai see where they are without movement, and have LeeSin NOT have the vision without movement. My reasoning is this: Thinking about it as if this were real life The ground looks grassy and stuff, (excluding the base and river but just ignore that ((and the river could still work with this)), meaning that the ground would shift even as the champ just stood still ((Ya know, like, from being all soil, green grass, etc, ((also ignore Anivia and other champions that can fly)). Because of this, I think that RekSai should have tremor sense without enemy movement, and LeeSin should need movement. But hey, I'm trying to use logic in a video-game, fantasy world.

Think about it in real life? Okay then; Rek'sai feels vibrations in the ground to 'see'. She has no eyes, nor ears. She sees much more effectively by utilizing her extremely sensitive tongue and whatever she uses to feel vibrations to create high-qaulity sensory information that also includes depth. Mimicking, for all intents and purposes, general vision.

Lee sin, on the other hand, can FEEL the vibrations with his outer spirit (Chi), and "see" them via the sound they create just by being alive. Rek'sai can only do the feeling part.

Essentially, this change would make it so lee sin has a MUCH harder time landing his skillshots, because he wont actually have a model to aim at; just a circle where the enemy SHOULD be. Blinks and dashes would give him a problem, greatly increasing his counterplay and making it satisfying to land those skillshots. Vision wards would still grant normal vision though, because they beam the images directly into your head.

Oh wow. I actually didn't know that he was using chi. (Never really cared for the lore too much). So my mistake. Thanks for the info though :)

I dont think its explicitly stated, but being that he does "Ki arts" (the manipulation of chi) we assume that, with his blindness, he makes up for it by using outer body arts. Hes also a magic monk. So... yeah. It makes sense if you think of it like that.

Hes sort of like tof from the last airbender.

Ap and magic damage should not be on the list. While ONE of his skills does scale from ability power it does not count since no one ever builds ap on him, also his magic damage is low and is usually maxed last (although depending on the situation could be maxed second)

before the AS slow was removed from E, Lee would go top all the time, max E first and beat you to a pulp by dealing tons of burst magic damage by using E and then autoing you since he would build AD

E has a 1.0 bonus AD ratio. So its relevant all game if he decides to build damage items. And you couldn't fight back because of the AS slow

its gone now, but his E by no means deals "low" damage. Its base is good and it scales 1:1 on any AD he builds, so it still hurts.

Tons of burst magic damage? you mean 200 + 100% BONUS ad...(at max level) That is not even close to tons...Maxing E will never be viable again simply because it does not have the attack speed slow. It has low base damage and considering that 90% of players rune early MR it will be dealing very low damage however you look at it.
