Quick idea to help malphite

Hey guys just wanted to throw a quick little Idea out their to help malphite out and it's pretty simple: replace his ap scaling with armor scaling. Malphite is a tank and thus should not be building ap items at all he should be armor scaling only and I know people are going to think I have no experience or something g like that but I want to say that I am a malphite main with level 7 mastery and over 260000 points on him so I know what I'm talking about. Tell me what you guys think

Too much damage. Plus it removes alterante builds and playstyles. I like being able to build some ap on malphite if i choose to do so.

Mana refund on w is an idea i came up with, that for every minion he kills with w up he regains 10 mana. This allows him to stay in lane a bit longer but also promotes his lane opponent to interact with him while its up to prevent the mana regain.

Its a win-win from my perspective.

His Q seems lack luster unless going with an ap build. I got to Plat playing Malphite jungle. I like Malphite a lot. He does get outclassed too easily in some 1v1 skirmishes vs ad champs like Riven that are much stickier and have more spammable cc than Malphite has.

Malphite is an all-in teamfighter but gets outshined vs some of the more abusive champs and kiting tank shredders, even Garen I recently learned with his armor shred.

I like all of Malphites abilities but he could use a buff to Q in some form. His Q causes Malphite to stop in place and it sucks when chasing that you actually lose a step just to cast the animation you want to help you close. The slow could be improved also to allow him more engage/disengage options. It isnt an aoe ability so a slight buff here would help him out without going too far.

I dont lane Malphiye though so I cant speak to what he needs to be viable top. He is perfectly viable in jg though.

I really like what your saying and I play him both top and jg I just think that a great way to buff him would be to give him armor scaling on his q and ult
