the difference between smart cast on and off.

after reading the kat update discussion and seeing people say that ward hopping is actually "a very skillful maneuver" or some shit like that i want to tell you how significant a difference it is when you have smart cast on compared to off specifically for ward hopping.

Smart cast off: 4 button presses just to hop to a ward as kat.

Smart cast on: only 2 button presses to hop to a ward.

the difference here is very significant and one is clearly easier than the other. you can also tell who has smart cast on/off especially if you are against or with a kat player because the skill rotations seems more instantaneous with smart cast on, which it actually is since its literally a button press for kat. the skill involved here is learning how to play with smart cast turned on and getting use to how that feels, but once you do the actual process of ward hopping specifically is not at all hard to do... not even in the slightest. i dont even play lee sin and its brain dead easy for me.

those who think ward hopping is hard to do and playing someone like kat then i highly suggest you turn smart cast on. your game play will improve significantly. if you are playing someone with a high amount of skill shots like vel or lux then having smart cast off is probally more beneficial. ori is a special exception tho, the entire reason i turned smart cast on in the first place was because of her. her skill shots are too slow and clunky to not have it turned on. idk how anyone can play her with smart cast off.

I've never used smart casting, but I don't like how they changed yasuo 3rd q as smart cast.

I liked his original q
