So the scarecrow has 60% winrate mid

I encountered it myself recently, i won.. HOWEVER the damage is ridiculous and it was very hard to kill him but i think riot games has gotten the scarecrow wrong all along perhaps he was never a jungler like the way his kit is set up and everything he is more of a mid laner and im willing to bet $$$$$$ that the people who originally asked for fiddle buffs only play him mid or know the history of the champion well enough to abuse his current foundation in the mid lane rather than the jungle. But seeing the effectiveness of him being mid than jungle REALLY makes me question the balance team..

Does the balance team really question OTHER lanes the champion can abuse when being buffed?

Im going to say NOPE because of what i experienced and looking at OP.GG anything with 60% is just beyond cancerous and those are only the nerds who acquired the play style first.. NEXT COMES THE SHEEP BAHHHHHHHH

he has literally the lowest play % out of the mid laners listed on Op.GG, who cares if his winrate is high its probably only OTP who have hundreds of games who were put mid as secondary role who have played him.

Im betting he could potentially hit the LCS or at least become popular in Korea which will get the play rate going in motion

Last time I heard that middlesticks was viable or even thought about was back in s5. Just because a percentage is high doesn't mean he is op at all, you could always itemize against them, especially if you're ad.

fiddles has always been a strong mage/assassin counter due to his silence. i take him support because mid is crowded out and i dont feel like waiting on a 10 minute timer just to get my secondary role anyway

This patch she is at 26% play rate this patch, 24% last patch, and 15% the patch before. She has been pretty popuar for a while. Even if you go back to 7.2, 2 months ago roughly, still 10% play rate.

Fiddlesticks mid is too unreliable. He has no escapes he is too slow. He won't make it to korea nor the LCS because he would get stomped. Like others said, his playrate is so low, it's only OTP playing him. He is not easy to play right and thus I doubt he will pop off like lulu. Besides that, Lulu is strong in synergy with on-hit adcs that's part of the reason she came back. Fiddlesticks doesn't really have such synergy.

he only has a 52-52% mid... and while that is high.. that COULD be because no one is used to playing vs him mid. (it could ALSO mean he's too overbuffed but i think we need to wait for a little more data to be conclusive)

either way saying "60%" is flat out over-exaggerating

yet he has a 0.57% play rate for mid

and is 117th out of 134 champs in games played ( goes ti the% of play rate/pick rate) with 78,884 games when the #1 champ has 820,567 games played Jhin with a 47.6% win rate across all games /ranks where on the same chart fiddle has a 47.9% win rate over all for the last month

Where are you getting 60%? I cant find anything near that anywhere. As soon as people get used to him and realize how incredibly squishy and immobile he is (not to mention his ult is near useless in midlane), he will be history.
