This is a draft of Demacia's section of the epilogue to the Hextech Revolution storyline from Factions. This was a hectic arc that ended with Demacia making the weighty decision to march into Shurima and seize Zaun's mines by force, in direct violation of the League's orders, in order to avert a prophesied apocalypse. It opens with King Jarvan III in jail, after voluntarily surrendering himself to League custody after the battle.

Sections for Piltover, Zaun, and Bandle City are forthcoming.

Since this is a Factions story, the events you see depicted were not arbitrarily decided, but rather played out as they did due to actual match outcomes and Summoner decisions, ranging from Demacia's decision to trust the prophecy and attack to the outcomes of those battles. Of course, it also capped off a deeply involved story arc during which the factions made numerous decisions (and fought to see them through) about how to use the new "dark sand" energy source discovered in Shurima.

This is a draft, and comments are very welcome. Some parts are quite rough, which bugs me. Please let me know which flaws jump out at you the most. Of course, both for creative purposes and to soothe my ego, please also let me know what you liked and want to keep, or get a little more of.
