When I first started, I saw myself like a commander-in-lane with the minions as my army. And I felt responsible for their well-being so I went first to defend them. Then we got to turrets. And I died. And I thought it worth.

The first champion i regularly played was Tristana, with her blue skin and white hair . I went around telling people I was a smurf. They must have wondered why I was so bad....

My biggest noob mistake? Read how much damage summoner 11 did picked it for laning and spent most of the game screaming at my screen trying to figure out why smite wasn't working on champions...really not a noob mistake I was just 3 seasons ahead of everyone else :p

1 week after i introduced my friend to League

Me: I checked your match history.... why are you building AD on Annie and AP on Jax? My friend: Because i'm not stupid lol Me: Champion like Annie are mages.... you need building AP on them, and Jax is a AD, build AD and tanky items. My friend: Exactly i'm not stupid, Annie spell are already strong so i build AD and i will have strong spell AND attack lolz... Same with Jax i build AP so my spell will be op too. Look like you don't know play this game, man. Me: ....

My biggest noob mistake was thinking "going bot" meant quitting the game to get replaced by an AI and everyone was mean for telling me to do it.

When I started playing and I read "flash goes to your cursor" I was like "Yes! With THIS. I CAN BE ANYWHERE!" I thought I could put my cursor all the way across the map and instantly blink to it. It took me a couple matches to figure that one out.

I started league because some of my friends told me about the game. One of the things they told me about was the jungle and jungle monsters you could kill for gold. Well, my biggest noob moment came in one of my first bot games when I laned against an Annie bot. At one point early in the game this bear started attacking me. I assumed it was one of those jungle monsters that had come out and attacked me. And that game those bears kept showing up and beating me up. A few days later my friends encouraged me to jungle. I promptly told them no way those bears in the jungle are way to strong, they kill me too easily. I informed them my plan was to stay out of the jungle and run when the monsters came out. Their responds was.. WHAT??? What bears? After a little discussion they figured it out and got a good laugh while explaining, "dude, that wasn't a jungle creep, that was Annie's ult. And then they explained how her ult worked.

When I first started playing I had no idea you could build into items. So I would just save up 2-3000 gold to fully buy an item.

Okay I didn't get to share this n00b moment before, but I will now.

One time I played a bots game with my younger cousin, who was using Garen. I saw his first item was a mana crystal, so I explained that Garen had no mana and he should build something else. I looked back like 10 minutes later and he had SIX mana crystals and nothing else. I asked him why the heck he would build that, and his reply was priceless. "Well you said he had no mana so I was trying to get him some."

I used to walk around playing ad kassadin with timat because you know the items in the damage category are normally helpful in dealing more damage.. had no idea what ap was .. also was carrying smite trying to kill people ended up smiting minions all the time.. was wondering if i kept missing read that spell at least 300 times.. 410 true damage why doesn't it work on champions? True story.. played about 100 games like that.. Kassadin summoner 11 item 3077

Output from that experience: I gotta learn to read.

I remember that I uninstalled and reinstalled league twice because I had shiv and I thought I broke the game when all the lightning went off...oh the memories

I'm pretty sure I used to think Warwick ult made me invincible, so I'd end up diving turret and dying almost every time I used it. took me a few games to realize that it didn't and I was just being stupid.

It's a toss up from: Buying only item 3144 for Mordekaiser in my 3rd ever Ranked match cause I didn't know what to buy. or Going as Trundle as an ADC because no one told me they were marksmen, also Ranked. and maybe Ashe top... never played her before, not Ranked.
