[Champion Concept] Rodan, The Artificial Human

Rodan is a fake human created by an unknown scientist/cultist. He uses his inexhaustible source of energy as his basic attacks, which he shoots out of canons built into his arms. He isnt exactly a robot, but his hands open into canons and his chest opens to reveal his enery core when using his ultimate, sort of likea robot. He is an ADC, with great poking abilities and sustain.

###LORE

Rodan doesnt remember when and where he was creating and he only vaguely remembers who created him. It was cult of scientists who mixed magic and science together to create what others called abominations, they considered them to be beautiful. Rodan was their finest work, he was the perfect creation, and they treated him like a god.

Unfortunately Rodan was not complete yet, while he was perfect in almost every way, he required a massive amount energy to stay alive. In order to preserve him a bit longer they decided to put him into a comatose state until they figured out what to do.

His creators knew that should he shut down there would be no turning him back on. So they did the only thing they could, they converted all of their souls and bodies into energy and put them into Rodan's core. When Rodan awoke he was surrounded by nothing, no one was left, all two hundred of his creators were gone.

That was when he saw the note they left for him, it explained what happened and why he was now alone. They asked only one thing of Rodan, to show the world his perfection, and showed him the way to the League of Legends. Wanting to fulfill his creators' dying wishes he set off to Runeterra and the League.

##ABILITIES

[Passive][Core of Life]:Rodan's basic attacks return 10% of his AD as mana.
When Rodan attacks an enemy champion, his basic attacks will deal splash damage as 8% of his AD, the splash damage will return health.

[Q][Energy Strike][60 mana][9 seconds]: Rodan shoots a ball of energy into the air which strikes targeted location dealing 80 damage + 100% of his AD to any target hit directly and 20 + 40% of his AD to all enemies around it. If Energy Strike hits an enemy champion, he is healed for 10% of all the damage done by Energy Strike.

[W][Powered Canon][70 mana][12 seconds]: Rodan focuses all his energy into his arms and legs for 3 seconds. All of his basic attacks now have 25% lifesteal and deal splash damage equal to 60% of his AD, which also lifesteals. He also gains 35% movement speed.

[E][Life Circuit][20 mana per second][15 seconds]: Passive - Rodan gains 5% Spellvamp, while Life Circuit is on cooldown Rodan gains an additional x1.5 mana regen.
Active - Rodan creates a spinning energy circle around him temporarily reducing damage by 25%. Rodan cannot use abilities or basic attacks while this skill is active

[R][Core Overload][100 mana][90 seconds]: Rodan becomes stationary channeling energy for 1 second, then he opens his chest and releases a massive ball of energy launching it towards targeted enemy champion dealing 250 + 60% of his AP as magic damage. Any enemy champions hit by it on its way towards the target will take 60% of its damage and reduce its damage by 10%. The ball will then come back dealing 80% of his AD as magic damage to any champions hit on its way back.

####Explanations

The idea behind Rodan is to have a sustain champ who works better with tank and high utility supports who dont have any sort of sustain. You need to be very careful with him in laning phase as he deals alot of splash damage and can push a lane if you are not careful.

His passive is what makes him a high sustain ADC. Just like with all his abilities the numbers can easily be changed for balance. The second part of his passive returns life equal to the splash damage.

His Q has the same kind of arc as Corki's bomb thing, it is his main poke. It also helps him sustain, and of course the numbers can be changed for balance.

His W is for trades and team fights it makes him very deadly if the enemies are all bunched together. It also helps him stay in lane during laning phase.

His E reinforces the sustain concept, and it also gives him some surviving potential. It is not meant for him to dominate in lane, it is just for him to tank some damage for unfavorable trades.

and finally his R, which has a bit more to it then i put above, i didnt want to have a huge wall of text there so ill put it here. The ball launches very fast, faster then Ahri's Q, but returns slowly and will return even if he dies. If he moves it will follow him. For example, if you shoot it out and hit X champion and then on its way back it hits X champion again, you can potentially move or flash behind them and it will hit them a third time, as long as you dont move or flash through or into it. Its range is slightly longer then Morgana's Q or it will return upon passing through the target champion. It does not damage minions and Rodan cannot move while channeling this move, but he can move after its been launched, and yes it can be interrupted while being channeled.

So like always, if you like it upvote. If you dislike it downvote but please leave a comment on why you dont like it and how i can fix it. If you think something can be fixed tell me and i will try my best to fix it. Thanks!

Hmm... Seems pretty good... I like the idea of a sustain ADC (almost like a tanky ADC, but those are sorta pointless because they'd just be fighters). He doesn't have any sort of AD or AS steroid, but he has a lot of splash damage, so I'm not sure he needs one... Plus he might be OP if he had one because of his sustain. I will note that it might not be a good idea to give him the bonus mana regen when his E is ON cooldown because if you really need the mana (which you probably won't because of his passive), then CDR would be a bad thing for you. Also, you would have to toggle it on and off as quickly as possible, which might actually COST you mana. It might also be a bad idea to make him not be able to attack with his E up, but (as far as I can tell) he can toggle it off at any time, so idk... His ult is a little weird (burst damage on an ADC and all), but he wouldn't be the first (Graves does, for example), so it would probably be fine... I'm just not quite sure its fits in with his kit very well...

TL;DR: E is a little wonky, R is a bit odd (but probably fine), overall a good champ.
