[Champion Concept] Shindal, The Awakened Sword
So please leave a comment telling me what you think, and if you like it please upvote. If you want to downvote it please leave a comment telling me why so i can hopefully fix it :).
The names, numbers, ratios, and skills are all open for change as long as i feel it still fits with my concept. So please give me your honest opinions on him and lets hope we can make him better :)
Shindal is a ranged/melee champion, he uses dual swords but he controls them with his mind giving him range. He is AD and is more meant to be a top or mid rather then an ADC, but im sure he could be taken down there as well. He is primarily a Fighter. He wears robe-like armor with a half mask covering his eyes. He floats rather then walking and always has his arms crossed unless attacking, the swords float in front of him as if he was holding them normally.
LORE
Shindal was once a human, a promising and talented soldier of a far off unknown kingdom. Shindal would practice everyday with his dual swords, even though there was no longer anyone who could stand up to him. Sometimes he would train until he was on the verge of death, his hands would bleed, he wouldn't eat or drink anything for days, and he didnt sleep. No one knew why he trained so hard, some say it was to protect, others say it was to forget something terrible.
It was during one of these intense training sessions he awoke a power deep within himself, he had become what his country called an Divine Awoken. Divine Awoken were humans who surpassed human limitations and gained incredible abilities, Shindal had gained the ability to control swords with his mind. Overjoyed by his new power he began to display it whenever he could and soon he was consumed by it.
Driven bloodthirsty by his new powers he destroyed his kingdom, bringing its King and all its warriors to their knees. Proclaiming himself the strongest in the world, he set off to prove it. His destination was of a place he heard of during his training, the League of Legends. So he set off towards the League, carving a path of destruction on his way, dead-set on proving himself the strongest.
###ABILITIES
[Passive][Awakening]: Shindal's bonus Attack Speed is increased by 15%
[Q][Drilling Swords][10 seconds]: Shindal spins his swords like drills and shoots them forward dealing 80 + 80% of his AD to any enemy champions hit. Deals 85% damage to minions (*Each additional sword will increase the damage of Drilling Swords by 10 + 10% of his AD)
[W][Crippling Slashes][13 seconds]: Shindal slashes the enemy target with all his swords dealing 45 + 50% of his AD and slowing them by 15% for 1.5 seconds. (Each additional sword will deal an extra 10% of his AD and add 0.5 seconds to the slow)
[E][Dancing Blades][11 seconds]: Shindal stabs one of his swords into an enemy opponent dealing 60 + 70% of his AD, his remaining swords will rotate around that target for 4 seconds dealing 15 + 20% of his AD per second.
[R][Divine Swordmaster][150 seconds]: Passive - Shindal gains an extra sword for every point in Divine Swordmaster. (Max of 5 swords)
Active - Shindal summons a rain of giant divine blades (number of swords x 2) in target area that deal 60 + 60% of his AD per divine blade.
Any enemy champions hit by Divine Swordmaster will be marked with Divinity, for each marked Champion Shindal gains an extra 5% of his AS.
####Explanations
So he is a pretty simple champion, but i will use this area to explain his abilities in much more detail. All ratios and numbers are not fixed and open to change for balancing.
Passive - Simple, bonus attack speed. Is not effected by his natural AS, only bonus.
Q - His main poke, its a simple skillshot that hits all enemies in its path, dealing reduced damage to minions.
W - Is similar to Darius's (and not just in name) where he slashes up the target and causes them to be slowed, each additional sword increases the slow.
E - Might seem a little confusing but its not, it is similar to Mordes Creeping Death, but not quite the same. Basically Shindal stabs the target with one sword and the rest will sort of orbit around that target and it deals damage to all enemies around it. The more swords mean more swords in the rotation which means more damage per second. It is a channel and therefore interrupt-able by moving Shindal or going out of range.
R - Sort of like Rumbles ult + Garens ult. He calls down a rain of swords in a target area which is based on the number of swords Shindal has x 2. All the swords fall very rapidly one after the other, so the only way to get out quickly enough is to flash or have a fast dash. Each blade does low damage but they do have a good sized impact area. Any enemy champs that take damage from the ult will be marked with Divinity and for each mark Shindal gains attack speed. At level 6 the maximum AS he gains is 25%, at level 11 it is 35%, and at level 16 it is 45%. It seems OP, but only because its not well balanced im trying to get the concept out there and have someone else worry about balance :).
