Shikigami2 votesRegardless of if AHQ is doing poorly. FNC and iG are a cut above the rest. EDG being possibly the third best team going into worlds (Chinese scene is always pretty good) got pretty handed game 1 by iG, and iG didn't disappoint on the qualification road. I'd think even if AHQ were doing their usual, it'd be FNC > iG > AHQ > C9 C9 obviously getting handed versus international talent imo, if they need to reverse sweep 4th and 5th place teams in arguably the worst major region this season, they don't stand a snowball's chance in hell (unless AHQ really shit the bed, which still means they don't qualify for KO stage).

OHminus1 votesFnatic is overrated, sorry. EU was pretty weak. I see them making it out of groups, but 2nd to IG, who imo is extremely underrated (Chinese "3rd seed" who's almost as good as LGD, their first seed and probably better than KOO, Korea's 2nd seed).

OHminus1 votesI also have gone over plenty of LPL, LCK, LMS and LCS games. Fnatic was trashing on lots of weaker teams. Their playstyle also does not match well against the chaotic style of AHQ and the early game driven IG. They will obviously beat C9, but AHQ can make plays early with Westdoor and Mountain, while IG is mechanically superior in the laning phase. There were several times Fnatic were losing early against the likes of Gambit, Roccat and even SK. IG won't give up those leads, and I predict AHQ will dominate Fnatic one game with Fnatic winning the other, leading to a tiebreak/C9 spoiling things for one game.
